room escape vol.1
Time to put your room escaping skills to the test once more: room escape vol.1.
A nice little game, up until the point where the screwdriver is needed. Then it's just a pixel hunt (which isn't much fun) and the game descends into stupidity. I mean come on, exploding honey jars?!?!
Ok, here we go again, need some more votes :) While you're reading this, please take a tiny moment of your time to vote for the bontegames cup design I made by clicking the link below and hit the number of stars you think my design deserves:
Hey Bart I love the games you post ! The easy ones are great fun but I love a chalenge, and you provide both and everything in-between. thank you. :) :)
To use the jar, you have to unlock the door with the key (this is where I was confused -- I think I did this, but with sound off there wasn't any indication that it had succeeded). There will be a cracked spot in the wall. Smash it with the hammer, revealing a tap or spigot. Put the jar under the tap and it will fill with honey. Give the honey jar to the bear and look away. The bear, grateful for the honey (or just excited by it), will bust open the wall. Exit through that.
okay, havent found the key or anything, not to mention the infamous "code box" *wooooh* but what was the second drawer for? was it ever used? anyone try the key where the handle is allegedly supposed to be? maybe there's an alternate ending!?!?!?!?! or...maybe im delsional. the latter is more likely. peace out homies, word to yo mommma.catch you later home skillet homie g dog biscuits. whatever. bye.
Ok, is it just me? To me, the answer to the formula for the code wasn't obvious. You can get three different answers using that formula. I looked at a walkthrough on another site and everyone there seemed to just know, without question, how to do that formula to get the correct answer. Is it supposed to be obvious or am I math impaired?
What? No comments yet? How can I resist? BEFORE YOU
ReplyDeleteFun little game, cute ending :o)
ReplyDeletecan't figure out code
ReplyDeletenevermind, figured it out, but now what to do after opening door
ReplyDeletehow do you open thing behind headboard?
ReplyDeleteI'm out, though the last few actions don't make much sense to me.
ReplyDeletedo I need a screwdriver for thing behind bed? if so where is it
ReplyDeletenevermind, found it, weird...
ReplyDeleteThat was quite a pixel hunt to get the screwdriver.
ReplyDeleteSPOILER
You have to lift the garbage can. Which is not easy.
Also, if you need to use a key on a door, it should have a keyhole or at least some kind of acknowledgment that the key works on the door.
ReplyDeleteeleventh!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteugh I HATE pixel hunting. I give up!

ReplyDeleteThe key is inside the code box.

ReplyDeletelike, nvm. i WAS crazy. you know that box i couldnt find? it was in the drawer. yep. i AM crazy. embrace it. fear it.
ReplyDeletewhats the code for the box thing?
ReplyDeleteI have the 2 numbers to make the code, but where do I find the formula to calculate the code?
ReplyDeletehow do you open the drawer to get the code box?

ReplyDelete@NotMarian the answer is according to the mathematical precedence rule.
ReplyDeleteWhat am I missing? I've got LETTERS, not numbers, to plug into the formula.....I've tried the numerical equivalents (A=1, etc), but that didn't work.
ReplyDeleteHow do you lift the bin?
ReplyDeleteI was a disaster in this room :(
