bear's life
Slouching on the couch, going out for some fishing, it's a bear's life I guess but will you be able to escape?
Help! Am totally stuck! Bear has put battery in boat and I've got steering wheel. I've also got the 3 numbers under the pots. Little speech bubble possible indicates that I need key for boat and key for the funny yellow box thingy at bottom of steps.
Never mind, finished and out. I'd love to know what the conversation was at the end in the speech bubbles. And did that bear left at the house look a bit sad? Or is that just me!?
Robert John, and anyone else who does this, please stop doing these kinds of posts. It goes like this:
First post: I don't know how to do X, please help!!
Second post: Don't help anymore! I personally figured it out!!
Why in the world would you do that second post? Do you think the purpose of the comments section is only for you, privately and personally to get hints for you alone?
If you get to hard part, it's probably hard for EVERYONE, not just you. If you eventually figure it out, don't tell everyone else to shut up. Tell them how you did it!
The gate code was a bit tricky - here's a hint. It requires the 3 numbers from the plants upstairs (note the colors and the actual shapes), added to the shapes with the corresponding colors to make 3 different digits -- much like the digital readout of a numerical digit on a clock or calculator. Hope that helps!
The bear with the key is your dad, who got kicked out of his house and into the secluded house in the middle of the water because he cheated on his wife. Sad bear ending: your dad is sad because you didn't take the envelope. When the bear (you) gets home, your mom talks to you: Mom: "welcome home. What kept you out so late?" You: "Sorry, dad wouldn't let me go home" Mom: "Did he say anything to you?" You: "...Not particularly..." Mom: "Well, I guess he isn't very sorry still." You: "I guess dad's going to stay out there for a little while longer..."
Happy bear ending: your dad is happy because you took the note. When you come home, the conversation goes more like this: Mom:"Welcome home, what kept you out so late?" You: "Sorry, dad wouldn't let me go home" Mom: "Did he say anything to you?" You: "Yeah, he gave me a note." Mom: "Oh, really? Let me see." Note: "Beloved wife, I'm so sorry. I will never cheat on you again. Can I go home now? I love you from the bottom of my heart." You: "What did it say?" Mom: "He's sorry for what he did. Let's go pick him up tomorrow."
...and that's the difference between a sad bear and a happy bear.
thanx for the answer, i tried again but i still can't find the envelope. can you explain it for dummiers perhaps? i click "no" when im asked, then i look allover but can't find anything...

could somebody traduce the hint for the yellow box at the bottom of the stairs? I understand that there says "Gate security system = (something)+ (something) of (something)" can you traduce the something´s to me?

if you look under the flowerpots upstairs you'll see coloured numbers. You have to imagine pacing these numbers on top of the ones on the screen. good luck
LOLWUT!?!
ReplyDeleteMy first ever first comment!
has anyone figured out the gate security system code please?
ReplyDeletenot to worry, figured it out... great game to post bart btw, cheers
ReplyDeleteYes!! I am out. Nice little game. Not too difficult, not too easy.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, the hints are only in Japanese, and I only speak more or less four langages; mother tongue (French) included... :p
ReplyDeleteout
ReplyDeleteGetting confused with the gate code...
ReplyDeleteMade it out
ReplyDeleteGate code is interesting... definitely some lateral thinking...
original!

ReplyDeleteAppears to have at least two ends. One with envelope, one without.
ReplyDeleteNot sure the difference, can't read Japanese.
Anyone have a clue?
how do you get the bear to move the battery? I got the steering wheel but am at a road block now. Can't do anything else...??? Help!
ReplyDeleteGive the bear the honey from the backseat of the boat. He'll love you for it.
ReplyDeleteOh, and btw, there are two endings I first got the one where the bear waves goodbye, then the one where he is sad and looking down.
when you get asked yes or no,
happy: no, go back to deck and read letter, then leave
sad:yes and leave.
Where do you find the steering wheel? For the bear, give him honey, found under the boat's back seat
ReplyDeleteSteering wheel in briefcase
ReplyDeletewhere did you find the enveloppe?
ReplyDeleteEnvelope is on the deck.

I'd like a house in the middle of the sea. It would be nice.
ReplyDeleteIt would be nice for a little while. Then it would be a prison.

ReplyDeleteThis was the cutest thing ever! I got out without any help (grin) :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the explanation with the envelope. I tried several times to get it and it wouldn't.
And yes, I thought a few times "why would I wanna escape? This place is awesome!" Just a little beach is missing and a palm tree for some shade ;)
Glad that Dad is sorry.
When I click on Bart;s link, it's all in Japanese! Does this happen to anyone else?!?
ReplyDeleteYes, you're right seems like the game is down, for now.
