I'm also stuck in the house. I assume that the colour/button pads behind the snowman pictures correspond with the buttons of the snowmen outside but I can't seem to get the right combination. Any help?

Look at the Snowmen... There is a smiley one, a frowning one..and one with red gloves... they relate to the pictures
Andrew: Do you have all three codes? (first one behind the picture of sad snowman, second one behind the picture of the snowman wearing glowes, third one behind the snowman on the cabinet)
Anonymous: look under the cabinet with a snowman.

Do not read this unless you eighter finished this game or do not mind spoilers.
I am stuck, having found several things I can not work with:
- the fishing rod that does work for me in the pond
- the chicken hiding in the log again and again after being fed
- the cat in the house where I did and found everything else to do and find
- the chicken in the christal
- chicken hint from the house
- the trunk and the darkness behind
- the star stone altar thing
Help?
By the way, this game is made of pure awesome, being cute and funny and creative and weird and solveable (until where I got stuck) and stuff.
for playerette:

Thanks to the Anonymous who answered my post! You provided me with just the right amount of help, not too much and not too little. Now I can probably finish this game without further help but can still find out much by myself.

to get the last chicken go see him in the cave, and remember that he is afraid of the light, he is not afraid of the dark.
for fishing, remember fishing is all about patience, you don't reel in on just a nibble!

i didnt check all the places ive been to;; i found the cat made a fire so i put the crystal next to it which melted

@ Robert John: you have to wait until the float (is that what those things are called?) submerges then pull. If you missed it, just wait another few seconds =)

fishing is a huge problem....i waited for half an hour ...but couldnt catch a fish....what 2 do ???
For fishing wait for lure to go completely in
the cake is to lure the chick out of the log and the pepper is to make the snake sneeze the chick out

Yay! Out. Cute game, and no help needed, though took me a bit to realize there was a 3rd snowman (the shape seen through the window in the house should have been a clue, LOL.)

Well I'm stuck :( not very good at these games, but sooo addicted >_< how do you get behind the house?
@ Anonymous: you have to have been locked in the house and gotten back out before you can go behind the house i think. You then just click the right hand side of the house to go there~
the snow men's buttons are the code, you have 2 wait for the bobber the go all the way down,the star is under the cabinet,go behind the house to get the little axe thingy, break all the diamonds, and spray the snake with pepper. hope you like my comment of random cheats. if you need an answer type this code in caps:
LMPRDS48 don't ask why

Spoiler alert - I'm looking for a hint for the last chick. There were a couple of chicks that were easy to find. Solved the snowmen codes, got chick from snake, chick in the dark, chick melted from ice, hungry chick. The cat is cooking his fish. I have a branch and matches left. Any suggestions?
