alice is dead: episode 2
Alice is dead: episode 2, the second chapter in the point and click adventure by Impending Riot.
It was pretty straight forward. There was one thing that gave me trouble, though. Here's a hint that might save you some time. I was trying to enter a command and the required password in two steps. You have to enter them both at the same time.
Warning: Do not play ten minutes before bed. Do NOT look in wall hole unless you really think you have to. If you did look in wall hole (you fool!) and managed to recover, do not hang around for all the end credits!
... You know you want to, though, just for the strangely awesome experience.
@ Anonymous: SPOILER it's a.... cat? You see outside, but with static like you're watching TV. Then there's a silhouette in the distance... then it's gone. Then you wait a bit more and the silhouette is nice and close up right in front of you and you can see the details. I guess people are saying he looks like a cat? The "cat" quickly leaves and a word is flashed for like 1/2 a second. Then back to just plain view of outside.
The cat I didn't find creepy at all. I just thought it looked like something from Dr. Seuss >.> Maybe if you're too concentrated on it and not expecting something to show up.. you might be startled. But you have to wait a LONG time for the cat to show up.. why are you waiting if you didn't expect something to pop up? ^^;; Maybe for those people who thought they were looking for something already there instead of waiting for something to show up? Don't know ^^; As for the word, it's not needed for the game, but you can use it to get added information about the world you're in...
The... cat is actually a cat ! This is the real, the famous, the beloved, yes, the most smiling cat in the world, the Cheshire (or Chestershire) cat ! Of course ! Doesn't anybody read Lewis Caroll anymore ? You have to read him ! His novels are brilliant, absurd and funny like you never read before. So, after this little lovely game, rest in Wonderland, and also Though the Looking Glass, and you will enjoy this little game even much better... These stories have become legendary by now !
Hoping my links are correctly written (yes they are...), yours,
I feel like I ended the game prematurely or something.. it was very abrupt. The game is amazing, the music is as perfect as ever, but wasn't the second one promised to be longer than the first? I suppose I'll just have to wait (impatiently!!) for the next installment!!
OOOhhhh exciting!!!! First by the way!!
ReplyDeleteFINALY!!!!
ReplyDeleteHaw, brilliant! (will play now)
ReplyDeleteThis had me waiting in anticipation as much as covert front still does.
ReplyDeleteokay I feel pretty dumb because I'm stuck after finding the glass shard, bell, and strip of bedsheet used with glass.....
ReplyDeleteI've got the same problem MC...
ReplyDeleteUse the makeshift knife on one of the pictures. The clue refers to your cellmate.
ReplyDeleteAfter that I'm as stuck as everyone else.
Talk to the mad hatter, and then check the toilet.
ReplyDeleteFlush it and then act quickly!

SPOILER!!
ReplyDeletejust read over at jayisgames that you get a medal if you use the clue you find in the hole in the wall...
you also get a medal when you finish the game.
you also get a special message if you type "password" for password
does anyone know of any other medal/special treat in this game?
It would be nice if they warned you there's an audio clue. Especially if you, like me, utilized the in-game "mute" button.
