My platforming skills are terrible! I give up!
I liked the music, and I guess it was a good thing, as it can't be shut off
For secret end just jump and hug the left wall. You'll disappear and get one more level.
You can shut off the music with "0", you can even adjust the volume (that surprised me) with the + and - keys.
Press "p" to pause the game and see the menu for sound control.
I can't get past the 4th level. I jump up the first three platforms, and then the last box before the princess is slightly too high. What am I missing?

I didn't have a problem there. Perhaps you must hold down the "x-button" a little bit longer. Then he jumps high enough :D

lvl 4 isn't possible
I gave up once as well, but it just annoyed me, cause it's such a small game. So I went back and kept trying til I got it.
Once you've got the controls down, it becomes a lot easier. It took me about 20 deaths to figure out you can jump low, if you only tap the X briefly.
The thing that annoyed me the most was dieing one jump away from the girl and having to start all over.
This game is definitely not meant to be fun, but a challenge to your ego.

Yeah, once I beat level, hmm, six was it(?), it became much easier. Quite cute actually. I like the comments - smartypants.
Some people are saying that your jump height is different in different browsers.
This game reeeeaaaalllly needs a level select. Had to stop playing around level 6 or 7, don't want to start over from the beginning. Cute game and great music, though.
