depict1
In a dark mysterious world only one voice is trying to guide you to safety, or is it? Not everything is what it seems in the platforming puzzler depict1. (Hint: the cursor keys will not make you move, try to find some other keys ...)
SPOILER: for the 2nd ending, wait till the light fades and once you get to the deception room, make sure to have one bullet remaining and use it to slow down the other guy while jumping across the gap. This was a nice game.
I guess nobody here noticed that after the boss is destroyed, the letters in the level name, "DECEPTION," scramble into "DEPICTONE" and then into "POETICEND." Or nobody here felt like mentioning it. (They did on Kongregate.)
I just love revisiting these great old games. I hope this one is still playable after Flash isn't supported anymore.
I liked it. I like that you have to figure out everything in such a different way.
ReplyDeleteEnding 1/2, trapped forever. Ouch.
ReplyDeleteI finished it. But one thing confuses me. There are some other end? I think not.
ReplyDeleteI'm trapped at (what I think is) the last stage? It's titled "K"? Is that end?
ReplyDeleteLevel "K" is certainly not the end.
ReplyDeleteHint: Do not press the "K" :-)
I found the continuation of the last level, but I don't know how to finish the final "battle". Maybe I'll try it tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteFinally I succeeded. It wasn't so hard and I'm FREE (ending 2/2).
ReplyDeleteI can't find the 2nd ending, I'm stuck at 1/2 :(
ReplyDeletethis was sweet.

Thanks for the help!
ReplyDeleteI feel ashamed...I'm stuck on the level where you have to kill the thing...
ReplyDeleteI'm stuck as well. I can't figure out how to get the little guy to jump. How do I do that?
ReplyDelete@Anonymous 15:40
ReplyDeletePress J
But if you jump on it it kills you...
Thank you! The little guy just kept blowing up on me.
ReplyDeleteOk I've got another one. How do you kill the monster?
ReplyDeleteNever mind about the monsters. I'm giving up on this game.
ReplyDeletethis is prob. the 1st platform game i've ever finished. r minutes non--stop, and i'm done
ReplyDeleteI can't figure out how to get past the "the end" level.
ReplyDeletegreat game, bad and good ending :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats the the authors :)
i cant figure out how to move on the level where it says "to move, press the arrow keys"!!! i keep pressing them but it doesnt work ):
ReplyDeleteGreat game, needed the spoiler to get the good end, well maybe I could have figured it out, too impatient these days
ReplyDeleteFWIW X and C move you, and since it starts with "Don't press X + C" I figure those are supposed to be the movement keys.
Incidentally did anyone else stick around to see what happens when the timer reaches zero.
Yes, it just goes on to negative numbers. nothing bad, just makes it look good...
ReplyDeleteAnyone plz help me!!
