  4. There is more than one letter combination to use next to the door. Can't figure out what numbers to put into the boxes on the shelves. The "sports" puzzle wasn't that hard, but I can't figure out what to do with any of the objects I have so far (tape, scissors, balancing toy, straw, remote control)

  11. On the bookshelf there are some items that are for sports, and some that are not for sports. Use the same pattern of boxes for the puzzle.

  15. Tape is under the couch. In escape puzzles you must always look under the couch! (And in the dustbin, and under the bed, and in each corner, and next to each plant...)

You can't get the screwdriver until you have solved some puzzles first.

I've turned out the lights, but can't figure out what to do with the letters I found.

  21. I can't seem to begin to assemble any of the objects. any hints on how to start that?

Also, here's my own hint: the paper with "post" written on it really has no two-digit numbers.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Ok! I figured out how to start the assembly (someone else mentioned it). You put the straws on the remote, tape them, then put the metal rods in the straws, then the green wheels, and then the two knobs. BUT I don't have both knobs. One is locked in a box, where was the other one? Then I presume it's the hook, chain and magnet...

    ReplyDelete
  23. its magnet then tape then hook

    and ur welcome shrimp

  24. Knob is also under couch. Hard to see.

  26. Walkthrough:

Look at objects in bookshelf. Note which ones relate to sports.
Click on bottom right box next to couch (it says "sports") -- click the squares that are the same as the bookshelf squares with sports items. Get tape.
    Get scissors from plant.
    Look under couch, get knob
Look at bed, click and hold on pillows, get letter code (GSNX)
Get straw from glass on table
Click and hold on coaster to get code (PLHD)
Click and hold on the HiFi set to get code (EMLQ)

Type the three capital letter codes into the box by the door. After each one stand back and note what color gentleman is standing there and what his number is (green 2, yellow 38, red 47)
Get the remote from under the tv
use the remote on the tv to turn on the tv and see how to break the gentleman code. (247 X 38) = 9386
Use that code on the gentlemen box. Get spade key and metal sticks.

Use spade key on red box, get post clue and screwdriver. Use screwdriver on box on shelf. Get magnet. Use screwdriver on box near door. turn out lights and get code from painting (uvrn). Turn on track lights and get codes from 2 other paintings (ffzn, reoe).

Clock on corners of "post" painting six times in the order on the post clue. look at picture frame for final picture code (oiei). Use the 2nd clue page to put the four codes in order (ffzn, oiei, uvrn, roe) into a column, reading downward, four, five, zero, nine. Use that code on the 4 pictures box. Get the second knob and the clover key.

Use clover key to open final box. Get chain and hook.

Get balancing toy from on top of speaker, get balls from toy
Cut straw in half with scissors.
Put straws on the back of the remote and tape them, put the rods into the straws, put the green wheels and knobs onto the rods, put magnet on the front of the remote and tape it, put hook and chain on remote. use the completely built remote car to get the heart key behind the post painting. Use heart key on door.

    out.

  27. It boggles my mind that people figured out so much but got stumped on the sports clue. That was BY FAR the easiest part of the game.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Okay so i had to use a lot of hints, but i got htrough much of it bymyself, my only problem is, ow that i have the remote control car where do i put it, something about the post painting, where is it supposed to go

    ReplyDelete
  29. For happy coin turn lights off, then enter the code next to the door (gentleman hint box)

    ReplyDelete
  30. Uff... I got it, but these escape games are hard for me! Has anyone tried the other games of the site? I played about ten games but I could solve only one of them! Sigh!

    ReplyDelete
  31. SPOILER

About the so called remote controlled car.

As a matter of fact, you must push the car into the hole which was behind the painting before this last one fell on the floor. Out ! But I must admit, when confronted to escape games, that I am a shameless cheater. ;)

The only point that I still do not understand is about the happy coin, for when I squeeze off the light, I cannot find any way at all to get to the light switch and always find myself confronting the painting at the head of the bed. Has anybody any idea of where to click then when facing the switch, in order to face then the right view ?

    ReplyDelete
  32. "Click on corners of "post" painting six times in the order on the post clue. "

I don't know how in the heck you figured out how to do that.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I don't know what this happy coin thing is. I finally figured out the picture and the clicking six times thing. (You click a total of six times, not six times on each corner).
I was able to finish the game without finding the happy coin. There was one box I couldn't even open. It kept saying that the box had already been opened.
