thomas was alone
Thomas was alone is a minimalist platformer about friendship and collaboration by Mike Bithell.
When you consider this was built in 24 hours, I think it's a great start. Yeah, it's easy, but you can see how the developer could build on this to something really challenging with more time to devise clever levels. Cool game.
I thought it was sweet :) I enjoyed playing it, and I also thought it was cool that the figures were defying the laws of physics, i.e. not falling off a cliff when the point of gravity is clearly off the cliff already.
Pardon my ignorance, but how do you start a level over? There is no back button, I'm stuck, don't even know what level I'm on, the big yellow square on the bottom, have no way to get the little one up on top.
This puzzle game is very easy.
ReplyDeleteAnd haven't any original idea.
i like it :)
ReplyDeleteThomas wasn't alone anymore..
ReplyDeleteEasy but fun!
Nice game... it should be a little LESS minimal, maybe! :)
ReplyDeleteFamily photo in the and was so cute)
ReplyDeleteI liked it - pretty simple, sure, but it was still fun to play and could have a much more tricky sequel since the guy who made it did it in 24 hours.
ReplyDeleteEntertaining, but perhaps a bit too easy. Good for a lunch break. ^_^
ReplyDeleteLoved it
ReplyDeleteIt is boring. I do not mind that the characters are shapes, but something else needs to be added. even background music would have helped a little.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed this game Bart! Thank you so much for posting it. I hope that it makes it into your Top 10 list for this year!
