  2. It's weird, I just finished this game here in California on November 16th, but here it is on a November 17th post. I mean, I just finished it... but that was yesterday.

  3. Game started. It keeps telling me to walk into the black bubbling wall. Everytime I do, I get knocked back. Over and over and over and over. Is this a bug?

  4. Lovely game!
Jessica: it's not a bug :-) You should find a way to make the black wall go away

  5. I did, I tried everything I could think of. It might be a lovely game, but it has the worse beginning part in the history of games.

    ReplyDelete
  6. @Jessica: try walking in the opposite direction

    ReplyDelete
  7. Tried that, tried pushing every key on the keyboard and tried holding every key, walking while holding every key, tried going backwards, tried jumping... absolutely everything I could think of, and... nothing.

  8. Great game. ^^

@Jessica: Try turning around and standing still.

  9. Same thing... nothing. That's why I think it's a bug.
Oh well, won't kill me to skip one game on here lol.

  10. Hi, I'm new here (this is the first time I've posted something, but have been playing escape games a lot). Nice page, Bart Bonte, I visit it every day:)
About this game, weird, because it's so slow, but I somehow liked it. Especially the swings...

  11. Wonderful game! I love the art and the music! It has a great little story with simple gameplay. Great choice Bart! Keep up the good work!

  12. Wow! A beautiful, original game. (Jessica, don't keep going into the wall of pain. Turn away from it until it is gone, then you can move forward.)
    Thanks, Bart!

  13. Lovely...some people write songs or poems, some people make games...

  14. Loved the imagery used, the whole idea of what the people teacch you and how they advance you through the game (eg the lover teaching you to swing and turning your world around [both in the story and the gameplay]) either that or I'm putting meaning in where there is none =D. Also like how they start appearing when you do their actions (eg best friend appears when you jump). Great game, thanks for showing it us Bart

  15. For those that enjoyed this game the author also made two others. Maybe not the same sentiment, but nice designs:

  16. The guy who wrote it says on his site that there are multiple endings, but I only found one, where the dog comes back.
    Are there other endings?

    ReplyDelete
  17. In my ending, he reunites with the girl. I don't know how I could have gotten to any other ending - it's not like there were any choices along the way.

    ReplyDelete
  18. In my ending, I got his friend that died.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I also got the girl ending. How do you get the one with the dog? Is it even possible to get the green guy to come back?

    ReplyDelete
  20. I only had the girl ending...until just now when I had his boy companion ending.

I'm not sure, but I think it may be correlated with either (a) how many times you fall, or (b) how many times you hit the wall of past memories.

    ReplyDelete
  21. After I start swinging with the girl nothing else happens... Does it go on?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Yay! I finally got the dog ending! Now to get the green guy to come back...

    ReplyDelete
  23. LOVED it!! I got the dog, now off to try the others!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Perhaps if you run past the swing in the last sequence?

    ReplyDelete
  25. It was absolutely great! I just LOVED it! And I had the "friend" ending...

    ReplyDelete
  26. How do you get the "friend"/green guy ending? I can only get the girl and the dog.

    ReplyDelete
  27. i had the girlfriend

    ReplyDelete
  28. @ Anonymous 20:09 : I really don't know... The first time, I went a lot of times into the wall but I didn't fall with the friend = Friend ending

The second time I never went into the wall but I felt with the friend = Girlfriend ending...

Did someone find how to get the dog ending? Or how it works?

    ReplyDelete
  29. I can only get the dog and the friend in my case.

I got the dog for rushing through the thing without falling/crashing into the wall. I tried crashing a lot after that but it didn't help.

I got the friend when I got stuck in one of the jumps after the friend flashback. Was playing around with the wall when I got stuck on one of the jumps cos I spawned without enough difference. Eventually after a lot of falls and jumps I spawned on the other side. Jumped a lot after the girlfriend flashback as well.

I think the game is awesome. It's simple, yet draws you in. Too bad I can't work out what brings which ending XD

  34. johnnywhy2 fits on yr page even better, casual gamplay,, cool thanks

    ReplyDelete
  35. I still can't get the green guy at the end. Is there anyone who knows how to get that ending? If you do please post how to get it! Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Just a guess, since I just got the dog ending for the first time, the game knows what your local time is (the clock in the hospital), so maybe the ending is based on the time of day???

    ReplyDelete
  37. I played it three times in a row. First I got the girl, then the dog, then the girl again. Weird...

    ReplyDelete
  38. Thank you Fikjen! It does have somthing to do with the clock in the hospital waiting room! I reset the clock on my computer to 6:25 AM and I got his Friend to come back at the end. I realized that if both of the clock hands are in the "orange zone" on the clock you will get the dog at the end, if they are in the "green zone" you will get the friend, and if they are in the "pink zone" you will get the girl. Interesting... Thanks again Fikjen!

  41. I got the flying saucer ending.
    Anybody else get that?

    ReplyDelete
  42. The Friend died, the girlfriend left...but what happend to the dog?

    ReplyDelete
  43. Beautiful.
But it gave me goosebumps all the way through.
    I got the friend ending.
lol I fept falling at the swing part because I was so annoyed at how slowly it was going.

    ReplyDelete
  44. The endings actually have to do with what time you play it- between 4:00 and 8:00, you get a certain ending. BEtween 8:00 and 12:00, you get another. And between 12:00 and 4:00, you get the final ending. I can't remember exactly which ending is at which time, but I know that it shows it on the clock in the hospital scene. (Before the friend dies)

  45. Wonderful game. I absolutely loved the music and the idea of it all. Though it took a while for me to figure how to play the game in the beginning.

    ReplyDelete
  46. awesome game!!!!!
