Neutral released another one of his fine escape the room games, enjoy Linkage.
the diamond padlock code just isnt working.. i have refreshed for different numbers and checked and rechecked the numbers against the sum and a calculator.. any help?
Love the Neutral games! Even when you get stuck, you know the answer is there if you think about it long enough. Some other escape games make you give up, search google for an answer, and you end up saying, "why would anyone in their right mind think of that?"
I'm out...after a few pauses for head scratching. :)
toenail - have you tried checking to see if you math is being done right? It took me a second before I realized that the first time I did the problem I forgot my order of operations.
It's just a matter of remembering that it goes parentheses, exponents, multiplication, division, addition, and then subtraction.
Really, you can swap every two since they're in the same class of things (subtraction is just addition in reverse and all that) but it really is all about keep the order math needs to be done in mind to get the right answer.
I was stuck on this for ages and had to use a walkthrough to tell me what to do with the star, but after that it was logical enough for me to complete the other puzzles and escape the room!!
i need help on this one

ReplyDeletecant load it
ReplyDeletenevermind, got it!

ReplyDeleteThat was a really good escape the room game. Good and hard without being a "find the exact teeny tiny little place you need to click on" game.
ReplyDeleteGood stuff.

(for the math puzzle, multiple the last two numbers first. Add that amount to the first part to get the correct number)
Loved this game :)
ReplyDeleteWow. That was pretty cool, but kind of difficult. I figured it out with only a couple of helps from a walkthrough. Good game.
ReplyDeleteOut without any help! that's a first for me with a Neutral game.
ReplyDeleteSoooo proud of myself :)

ReplyDeletenot able to do it by my self, but loved the graphics and interaction!
ReplyDeleteCouldn't have done it alone....I cheated, did it with the walkthrough :(
ReplyDeleteWow. Amazing game!
ReplyDeleteA bit of a spoiler:
ReplyDeleteThe location of the transparency has changed. It is now under the opposite drawer, so it makes things a little more difficult.
