insidia
Insidia is a platformer about a traveller who makes an emergency landing to a dark and strange planet in order to fix his ship.
Fun little "metroidvania" game. Fairly quick, and the teleport function means you don't have to waste a lot of time backtracking, which is a plus.
I wish someone had bothered proofreading the text, though. Lines with multiple grammatical errors like, "The ship begins it's ascend to the stars," are just embarrassing. I do expect my programmers to be able to read at a fifth-grade level. :)
(And whoever decided that HUGE advert-popup was a good idea needs to be shot. You know which one I mean if you've played it.)
TIP: If you want to see both endings, just skip one switch and fix your ship. Then choose "Continue" from the main menu, go back and trigger the switch, and fix your ship again. Bingo, both endings! You aren't missing much if you don't see both, though.
I give up. I've been trying to get that wall climber thing for nealy a day with no luck. How am I supposed to jump over the one fan without getting killed? Help please!
You got alot further than I did. Good for you! I still can't get to that wall climber. Are there any other upgrades that I need to get before I can get that one? I already have the double jump and the faster movement ones, are there any others that I missed? Doing a double jump isn't working for me to get the wall climber. I just keep hitting the wall and landing on the fans. Help please...
I completed this game once, but now I can't find the tenth kit.
If you can't get the wall climber, just stay on the edge of the platform and just before the fan, double jump over it. It sounds confusing, but you just need to have good timing.
I'm first to start playing, who's next?
ReplyDeleteim first to finish the game lol
ReplyDeletenice little platformer. I miss one secret for the alternative end but I guess it implies the angel I saw somewhere.
ReplyDeleteNo. The secret ending involves a missle defense system. Now... should I play again to play without the secret ending...
ReplyDeletethe missile defense system is the regular ending.
ReplyDeleteA nice little game, but way too easy. I just ended it with all "secrets" and never really had a problem...
ReplyDeleteI seem to have reached an impasse, the next unexplored area seems to be way above jump height.
ReplyDeletesame here, can't seem to jump high/far enough
ReplyDeleteYou need to explore all areas; in one area you'll find a wall-climbing device, the name says all ;)
ReplyDeleteI got all the hidden switches, too bad I have to play again if I want to see the ending without a defence system..
Fun but tricky. I really enjoy games like this.
ReplyDeleteNice game!
ReplyDeleteHow ironic!
ReplyDeleteI just finished this game two days ago and said, "This should be a bonte game!"
And look! It is!

PK
I found higher jumps, double jumps and faster running, never found wall climb.
ReplyDeleteI'll probably have to reset it and start with a clean map so I know where I've been.
Forget that I just found it, now I'm SURE I did that room before WTH. Oh well ... onward.
ReplyDeleteI found the wall climb thing but I keep dying when I try to get it. Can anyone help me with that?
ReplyDeleteI give up. I've been trying to get that wall climber thing for nealy a day with no luck. How am I supposed to jump over the one fan without getting killed? Help please!
ReplyDeleteTo get the wall climb ability just double jump over the fan to the far side.
ReplyDeleteI still can't get the wall climber thing. I give up. This game just is worth it anymore.
ReplyDeleteIronically I found all 10 hidden items, but I can't find my 10th repair kit. Here's what my map looks like. What have I missed?
ReplyDeleteOops, sorry. Here's the map.
