sarah's run

First game of the year is a 10 level preview of the 3d puzzle platformer Sarah's run by Sophie Houlden. Note: this is a Unity game, so you'll need to install the Unity player if you have not done so yet. Happy New Year!

  2. Haven't seen a Unity game yet that has been anything special. They take a long time to load, controls are always awkward, and it uses a lot of CPU juice. Hope this one is better.

  4. Hey Bart,

If you ever decide to have shirts made, I know I will buy one.

Like the idea of a black shirt with just your logo in the middle .

    Anyway, you are a legend.
    Thanks

  6. Can people please feedback if the game is worth the effort of installing the player. Unless it's a really great game I probably won't. Thanks.

  9. Good game and finished, the last level is quite difficult and hard to pass. It's remind me the game PORTAL in 3D.
    Happy new year!!

  11. Sophie (sarahsrun.sophiehoulden.com)has stopped development on this game for now. So it's unlikely we will see the full version any time soon.

As for the game itself, I like it. It does have a Portal feel to it. Level 10 is very challenging. I had to study it for a while to figure out where to go to solve it.

  13. As a lefty, I have my mouse buttons swapped. It's rarely a problem except on "Unity Web Player". Many games require the use of the "wrong" (for me) button before they'll do anything, and then the button functions as both left and right at the same time! Don't know if that's a defect in the player, or if the game creators aren't setting up options the way they should.

  15. I second the T-shirt idea; maybe a collage of the games you've personally made on the front and your logo on the back?

  16. I agree. T-shirts would be awesome! I like the collage idea. That would look relly cool. Bring on the T-shirts!

  17. Ok, will think about the tshirts :)

  18. Hello !

This is a Unity game, which is not very Linux friendly. Why on earth do some developpers keep building wares that are uncompliant unless you use Windaube or Machinetoc (frenchly speaking)? The most irritating of it is that this concern here a browser game, browser games being meant for all OS, well, untill now, I thought so. Well, no matter - there are plenty of other games which do not require this kind of webmonowares - webmonoware = only Mac and/or only Windows applications for browsers.

Whatever, happy new year to everybody ! :)
