beneath the waves
Beneath the waves is the latest Gregory Weir game. A story-based exploration platformer that takes you to dizzying mountaintops and deep beneath the waves.

Hellooooo, from Texas!
hello from portugal :)
good afternoon from orlando florida :o)
DONE!
Interesting. I'm curious, is there more than one ending? Thanks for this one, Bart!
Thanks for posting Bart! I absolutely love Gregory Weir's games. :)
@-k: If you read the notes section, it's stated that there is just one ending.
The ending was... odd... lol. Control scheme was a little weird -- why do I stick to some walls and not others with the same texture???
i liked it bart im a HUGE platformer! a good game was bound to come after some kinda gross ones! keep the platforming games a-rollin!
Thanks Kitkat! I hadn't read the notes :)
If there's only one ending, why is there a button to replay the retrieval of the last idol?
Also, Nemur, I wondered the same thing for a while. You're not actually sticking to the wall, you're clinging to the edge at the top. Thus, if you're near the top, you don't fall, but it's not going to let you progressively jump your way up from mid-wall.
All in all, a great game. Made me think, as most Gregory Weir games tend to do. I'm really surprised if there isn't an alternate ending... I'm going to go check once more. :)
Thanks Bart! :D
(TL;DR? The game was good.)
Right, you can cling to cliff edges but not to walls that continue upward.
The kraken was annoying to deal with, but I manged to get through.
I think the replay of the final part is there because that's the most challenging part of the game.
Nice game but maybe a little bit too easy, but thanks anyway for posting.
Hi from Berlin!
Interesting game, not really difficult but I don't really understood the point of the story...
Hi from France!
The game was cool and weird!
Another international day? :)
So... Hello from Italy!
Cool game! I love these kind os platformers! Just one thing: the characters often move too slowly... but this one moves too fast, sometimes! :D
Wow! For a Gregory Weir game this one is pretty good. It's a little tricky for me to get the character where I want him since he moves so fast. Other than that it's awesome! Keep up the good work Bart!
FINISHED!! horay!
one thing that i wondered about:
So the person and the kraken thing used to love each other!?!?!?
Finished it! Wey, and gee it was difficult by the end. I got so "excited"-ish when the sharks followed me so i screamed - and woke my mom. Sorry mom!
Anyways, I love Gregory Weir's games :) Thanks for adding it to your site, Bart!
- Gratitude from Norway!
Hi from Maryland! I'm kinda stuck, but it's a good game. :)
