alphaland
One day while you're testing a level for a developer friend of yours, you accidentally discover a hidden world inside the game: Alphaland, a game by Jonas Kyratzes.
Games with originality are always good; I really enjoyed this just because I didn't know what was coming next. The end is moving and immediately made me want to play again. Simple but great.
Very interesting game. Different to anything I've ever seen. The whole look of it and the music remind me of a recurring nightmare I used to have as a child. It took me a while to finish it but I'm glad I persevered.
Yay I finished it! A clue to unlocking things the ">" means "greater than". You need to make the first number larger than the second one. I hope that helps anyone who may get stuck on that part. Thanks for adding this game Bart! Also thanks to Jonas for making this one! Keep up the great work guys!
Dare I say 'first'?
ReplyDeleteHaving a tough go of it in the blue section. Not sure how to get out.
First on the forth. May the Forth be with you! Happy Star Wars Day!
ReplyDeleteFigured it out, Finished. Neat game, actually.
ReplyDeleteThat was a pretty cool game. I liked it. :-)
ReplyDeleteLoved it. Thanks for posting.
ReplyDeleteUhm... Curious game! The music was inquieting... or maybe it's because it's almost 11 p.m. and I'm playing all alone in this room...! :D
ReplyDeletesame hare Rava, pretty scary actually. love the randomness of the Alphaland
ReplyDeleteI just finished it. Really strange. I don't get it, perhabs it's just not my game...
ReplyDeletei just finished the game, but i didn't understand the ending. what was that?
ReplyDeleteThis is the game that never ends........ I don't like this one. It just goes on and on. How do you know when you get to the end it there is an end?
ReplyDeleteYou'll know.
ReplyDeleteSPOILERS PAST HERE
The game will tell you.
END SPOILERS
@Stephen
ReplyDeleteTomorrow will be the Revenge of the Fith!
to follow up from the last game: Now I feel like I'm a blue pickle!
ReplyDeleteInteresting game. I don't quite get it, but there's a moral in there somewhere. Maybe... All blue rectangles go to heaven? :D
ReplyDeleteGood one, but I felt a lack of any sense of progress. I need to know I am getting closer to The End, and not just moving on and on.
ReplyDeleteDidn't finish it, but it was fun while it (or I) lasted.

ReplyDeleteI can't get pass where it says "1>12" and there are some "1"s in the air to the left. :/
ReplyDeleteOk managed it^^

ReplyDeleteI can't see the point of this game. Anybody care to explain it to lil' old me?
ReplyDelete"Jonas
ReplyDeleteThe game's not working. That rectangle just falls through floor and reaches nirvana. Some bug I suppose."
