god of poverty
It's that Minoto time of the week again, here's his point and click game for this week: god of poverty.
it had a different style then the usual minto games. the second screen kept changed, and it felt more easy or maybe just more logical. anyone felt the same?
@Anonymous 20:24 : Yes, I felt exactly the same... And I found this one a little bit short... But I really like the way he makes his games now (scene after scene)...
@Me/You i'm not sure if i prefer his games with a scene after scene scenario, but i'm sure i would love it if only he'd make his games like he used to with two ways too solve it and two endings. that would be great...
I have to agree. Putting the key and the lockbox on the first screen, without having to search for it was too easy. Now, just using 2 screens, is making it easier still. Please go back to the older format.
I always played Minoto's because they were cute, and funny... I think I'll stop from now. The concept is over for me... When you understand the Minoto's logic (which takes some games to do) it's enjoyable, but it also get easier and easier ... and this is the "too-easy" point for me.
I like all the Minoto games, whether easy or hard, but found this one way too easy and therefore not very satisfying or fun. I didn't really like the objects being on the same screen either, and I missed the funny descriptions of the items. It felt like a mini-game, like something designed to introduce you to the games by being so easy, it is almost a walkthrough. Hope the next game from them is a lot better.
First to say I hate when people say first
ReplyDeletelolwut? haha. Gotta love minoto. :)
ReplyDeletethe happiness end! Always nice, those minoto games!

ReplyDeleteEver since the key and the lockbox started showing up in the first screen.
Still, it offers a few pastel colored moments of fun in Minoto World.

ReplyDelete"... maybe just more logical."
Minoto logical? What have you been smoking?
I wish Minoto would return to the old, old way they made games. I haven't been enjoying the newer ones for a while now.. :(
Definitely not true to type. In his other games you don't use stuff found in one screen in the same screen, with the exception of the key.
ReplyDeleteThe lesson for today: hot pumpkins make you god-like. XD
ReplyDeletei agree that this was easier (and therefore less enjoyable) then usual minto.
ReplyDeleteto esay
ReplyDeleteWoaoaoaoaoaoaoaoaoaoaoaoaoaoaoah

ReplyDelete++ agree with @Peter
ReplyDeleteGod's tool? :)
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one who is stuck on the shard of glass and the key? O.o I just don't get it.. even after random clicking I've got nothing..
ReplyDeletenever mind xd not 2 seconds after I posted I got it :d
ReplyDeletei totally don't get the ending. which is good. it wouldn't be minoto without at least a little bit of "huh?!".
