dibbles: for the greater good
Guide your little heroes through a perilous magical land and get their king to safety in the puzzler Dibbles: for the greater good.
It is a lot like Lemmings. I did like the puzzles, and the music was really sweet. Not too hard, really. The only thing that was really annoying is that, as Peter already pointed out, every level needs to be started with "space". Otherwise a very decent pick for this blog, Bart :D
Actually, I found starting with "space" much easier. It allows you to hover your mouse over the item you will need first. I'm using a laptop trackpad and sometimes it's hard to quickly go from middle of the screen to a far corner. I could hit spacebar with my left hand while being ready to use the mouse with my right.
You can select the level (as far as you got anyway, but maybe you want to repeat one) by stopping the game and going back to the menu. Your progress is saved.
Thanks, Carly! :) Yeah, I noticed later on that there were possibly alternate solutions since I didn't use everything on some levels. I wanted to go back and mess around to see if I could figure them out.
first to comment yess!!!!!!
ReplyDeletePoor little creatures!
ReplyDeleteThe whole game is controlled with the mouse EXCEPT you must press space to start the level. Otherwise it's a nice game.
ReplyDeleteAwesome game! Thanks Bart!
ReplyDeleteLooks a lot like Lemmings, but that was nicer.
ReplyDeleteNice one. Thanks Bartje.

ReplyDeleteAs Athos (portrayed by Oliver Platt) said, "we're saving the king!" In lemmings, we only saved other lemmings. (okay, that last bit was a stretch)
ReplyDeleteWhat I REALLY would've liked to see was a Level Select option. (unless there was one and for some reason I missed it)
ReplyDelete[PS: Thanks Bart for posting my suggestion! :) ]
