Really good, nice to see that it's just a prototype, so we can see forward to a longer version of this game soon :)

  6. Yep, great game.
But would have liked it more if there had been some 'safe points' in a level, so if you die at a certain point you don't have to start at the beginning of a level again.

  7. The music and sound effects don't mix...

  8. is it just supposed to take you back and forth between the different levels or is there a way to actually finish the game?? either way, its a really cool concept! and i love the design! :D

  9. I can't get past FallJump, the one where it is impossible to jump over that gap with lava and impossible to jump high enough to get on that pillar thing

  10. Better platformer than most, and quite original.

Problematic physics: overreacts to keystrokes so it accelerates too fast, decelerates likewise, and seems to be able to jump in mid-air. Top speed is slow, so takes too long for some moves.

Currently it only has 3 'features': raise, lower, die/restart. Probably needs more to make a full game. Teleport? Bouncy? Sticky?

Save points should be flagged. Could do with stars/gems to collect along the way. Needs a levels menu, scoring, more puzzles, etc.

Nice start, but quite a bit of work yet to do.

  11. I have to disagree with dyork. I think it's wonderfully simple the way it is. Adding warps and gems and whatever else to it would just spoil it. It doesn't need any more challenges. But that's just my opinion.

  12. @ PyroLuna:

If you drop down at the lava pit and then jump while falling you'll make it to the other side (maybe with a bit of trial and error). Then just do the switches to raise platforms.

  15. I love it - but it freezes totally on the "lava is Hawt" level. Soon as I reach the goal - screen freeze, can't continue. Bug??

  17. I discovered editing mode!

Lovely game -- I hope they add a level select and restart level (found edit mode when I was trying to restart a level and hit "esc.")

  18. A bit hard, but I just played it through twice. Very interesting game, nice BGM. Think I need a new keyboard, the arrow keys are coming loose :-))

  19. The editing mode is so fun! You can get rid of the lava!

  20. Neat effect! It took me a while to suspect that this is a basic flat platformer that has been warped into a circle shape. I would be extra cool if as you climb higher the level scrolls outward, toward the viewer. It would feel as if you were climbing higher and higher up the cylinder.
