  2. Had to use walkthrough. The playroom title downplays the difficulty. It was a cryptography lesson.

  4. Escape game rule #27: There is always something under the pillow

The word he wants is made from the letters you found in each direction. Also, it's another phrase meaning escape, "get out", leave and/or depart.

  7. It's clever how you solve each puzzle to gain the letters to solve the actual main puzzle of escaping.
Also, it hurt my head, but completed.

  8. This could have been one of the best escapes ever -- instead it descends into farce.

So I found all the initial codes, including the big letters * and *, **** on the newspaper, a meaningless cardboard disk and compass rose, and the letters ******* from the teddy pics.

The word ***** kind of leaps out (given the teddy theme), so I opened the box, found the key and promptly got stuck in the closet.

Given the concept of compass points, I went back and searched each side of the room and found the * on the back of the door. That gives me 3 letters, so I guessed the fourth and I'm out (with no walkthrough).

I did NOT solve the cardboard disk, 5x5 display, robot, fragments or compass points but I did solve the room. Any escape that lets me out without solving 5 major puzzles has failed, in my view. Very disappointing.

[Letters replaced by * above to avoid giving spoilers.]

  9. the cardboard disk fits on the blacklight lamp...though I have no idea why. The robot is giving me fits...I have no idea if a happy face means anything or not. This is not an easy one.

  10. And apparently the letter W is not part of the alphabet in this room.

  11. I had to use the walkthrough. It's a fun game but it made me feel so stupid. :)

  12. @ Lizzie:

If you use the push pin from the bear images to poke holes in the cardboard disk (placed on the second page of the notebook and then covered with the first page) it'll tell you which letters from the bear images to use for the bear box (once the cardboard is placed back on the lamp when the lamp is in the 2nd position).

I'm assuming you meant Factory Balls 4, since Factory Balls 3 came out quite a while back. Have you tried Factory Balls Christmas?
