the secret of grizly manor
Bring on your point and click skills and make sure you have a recent browser, you will need it to discover the secret of Grizly Manor.
Did it! I think it's nice. There was only one puzzle I solved only by pure chance, still don't know where to find the hint for positioning the birds on the fireplace.
The hint for the globe is in the room with the dog painting on the wall. After you have opened the door to the hallway, go back to the secret passage. pull the handle. Enter the room from the hallway. Look at the poster.
Really nice game, I first played this game as an app for my iPod. On PC side for some reason the game play lagged and was slow to react, not as nice as their app version.
I think the reason why it isn't working in so many cases is your security settings. Yesterday it didn't work in FF, but now I've enabled cookies for this site and it works fine.
Da's een mooie, Bart!
ReplyDeleteLoopt helaas niet helemaal lekker en is traag. (toch IE versie 9)
ReplyDeleteHmmm... doesn't seem to work for me
ReplyDeleteOpera: helemaal niks...
ReplyDeleteIt's working fine in Firefox and Chrome.
ReplyDeleteit doesn't work in firefox
ReplyDeleteNot working in Firefox. D'oh.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't work for me neither. Just downloaded FF6 and Flash 10.3 but still no luck.
ReplyDeleteTo bad, looks great.
@Rob: Just tried IE9 and that works for me.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't work for me...all I'm getting is a page with a gorilla, dinaosaur, and spaceships. Like it's frozen on that spot.
ReplyDeleteOops seems not to work in many cases. For me it's working with latest Firefox and Chrome under windows.
ReplyDeletesame here anon 22:01
ReplyDeleteI'm going go play ponycorns....that game actually works
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed this game, Bart. Thanks for sharing it!
ReplyDeleteI used latest version of Firefox and had no troubles with the game at all.
ReplyDeleteVideo Walkthrough:

Works fine for me with Firefox 6.0.
ReplyDeleteNot working for me..Passing on it.
ReplyDeleteWhy isn't it working, seems 90% are having the same problem as I.
ReplyDeleteDid it! I think it's nice. There was only one puzzle I solved only by pure chance, still don't know where to find the hint for positioning the birds on the fireplace.
ReplyDeleteFinally made it. Great game but never found the second piece of paper.
ReplyDeleteAfter seeing all the not working comments I'm just going to skip it entirely.
ReplyDeletePhew, made it!
ReplyDeleteIt's fine in Firefox 5.

ReplyDeleteThe clue for the birds is in the car picture in the bedroom
Done! Nice game, tricky puzzles at times!
ReplyDeleteI don't like it. It's hard even with the walkthrough.
ReplyDeletesafari is fine too, a bid hard going to need hints :)
ReplyDeleteI had to guess the colours on the globe. Where was the hint for that?
ReplyDeleteWorks fine with the latest Firefox. I tried both on Linux and on Windows and had no problems.
ReplyDeleteNice game. The puzzles tend to be serial, with a fairly constrained order of what needs to be done next, but I found it refreshing.

ReplyDeleteHEY Rob, NO ONE SPEAKS FOREIGN!!
ReplyDeleteIT DOESNT WORK 4 ME
ReplyDeleteAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I Hope It Isnt Much Fun :( :(
-MAD_SKILLZz
worked well for me - bit tricky but still solvable
ReplyDeleteFun game!! Played it on Firefox. Thanks, Jennifer. The globe clue was really eluding me.
ReplyDeleteHey, Anonymous at 2:18. At least Rob is creative enough to use an actual name.
Really nice game, I first played this game as an app for my iPod. On PC side for some reason the game play lagged and was slow to react, not as nice as their app version.
ReplyDeleteBut still nice.
dosent work in ie
ReplyDeleteWow! This was probably the best escape games yet.
ReplyDelete* logical puzzles
* no pixel-hunting
* top quality production
I prefer the mild difficulty puzzles over needing to solve algebra/suduku in games.
Here's what Rob said in English.
ReplyDeleteRuns unfortunately not entirely nice and is slow. (nevertheless IE version 9)
F.Y.I. He said it in Dutch.
This game works fabulously in Firefox 5. It's awesome - the absence of Flash is great. It really showcases HTML5. The puzzles are fun, too. :)
ReplyDeletethe combination won't open for me the screen is just black, if anyone else has the same problem it's 42-34-15
ReplyDeleteNo problem at all in FF 6.0. Blocky graphics and a little slow on first opening a new scene, plus some picky mouse clicking; otherwise fine.
ReplyDeletePuzzles are moderately hard but reasonably well clued. Tends to get easier towards the end.
On balance, no complaints. Well worth the price.
The style and music is reminiscent of The 7th Guest.
ReplyDeleteThe ending ... is not.
I think the reason why it isn't working in so many cases is your security settings. Yesterday it didn't work in FF, but now I've enabled cookies for this site and it works fine.
ReplyDeleteBTW @Anonymus 2.18
Everybody speaks foreign
Doesn't work with Windows 8.
ReplyDeleteWhere is the walkthrough?
ReplyDeletei didn't find this hard at all .. *shrug. just search every room. put the clues together and find what you need to find.
ReplyDeletei really liked it.
"HEY Rob, NO ONE SPEAKS FOREIGN!!"
ReplyDeleteOkay.... excuse me....
PyroLuna look back at Anon 22:06...there is your walkthrough.
ReplyDeleteHi Bart, LOVED IT!!! Got more of those?
