    @ Anonymous 27Oct, 17:15: how did Jack help you? O_o I was also stuck at same point and was so anticipating the answer, but as far as I can tell, Jack didn't reply here =/ Anyways, I figured it out thanks to Anonymous 18:07 mentioning that I needed a coin...

    @ Anonymous 18:10: Maybe because if the blades of the scissors were thin enough, it can be used as a screwdriver? I don't know why we threw away the screwdriver when we got the "pipe" though...

    Often things don't "make sense" in Minoto games. Just run the gamut of clicking items, opening inventory and trying combinations.
    Eventually something will always work. Play enough Minoto games and you'll start to realize he's not all there.

    -Hightlight hook on first screen click on comet, second screen open.
    -Go to third screen highlight ray gun click it on the sun to charge.
    -Back to second screen use ray gun on space rocks.
    -Use chisel on big rock get a "box"
    Wait until space ship leaves and click the twinkling star, get a coin.
    -Fourth screen, click on ship opens up a mortar, put the shell in mortar blow a hole, click on ship to drop dark box. Click on sun to bury box. Click ship again and it leaves and replaced by a rocket.
    -Click rocket, put handle on air tank, take fish bowl. Use sd on screw take pipe. Go two screens take lever. Go back one screen use scissors on screw on console and put coin in slot, also put lever where screw was. Ship lands.

    -Go to door scene in rocket put fishbowl on astromauts head exit door. Use pipe as ladder. Give hoe to astronaut dig up dark box. Click box, emits a ray.
    -Use comb on guys head, hair straight then use scissors and cut.

    The large black "monolith" and music at the end were both from 2001: A Space Odyssey. So my guess is that this is Minoto's tibute to that book/movie.

    For me, the "oddness" of this particular episode was apt given the story it's referencing. I enjoyed this one quite a bit more than I expected. Thanks for sharing it with us!

    The best Minoto in months and months!

    I became a bit bored with the dog of flanders and rats of harmelins sequels, but i loved this surreal take on the movie / story 2001.

    I often wonder what kind of drug this guy on? lol
