The word alone is an interesting puzzler by MattRix. Your goal is to isolate the letters A L O N E by pushing the other letters off the board. Spell a valid word (3 or more letters) and use the arrow keys to move it.

ReplyDeleteMade it only 20 moves I think that's a pretty good score....and didn't realize that it isn't multi leveled.
ReplyDeleteInteresting game. If you can make a word in the middle of the board, you can move it around to dump off other letters.

ReplyDeleteNice game. Once you get the hang of it, I think it can always be solved in about 10 moves or better.
ReplyDeleteNote: each game is 25 letters, excluding Z, in random positions. Making words costs nothing, but pushing costs a move. Therefore make words that push at least 2 letters off each time. Get rid of JQXWK etc early on. Keep ETAOIN SHRDLU because they make more words. Use the letters in ALONE to keep them safe in the centre.

ReplyDeleteI like this game and often pop it on to while the time away. There is no limit to the levels - different letter configuration every time you click "Restart". Would be better if it said "Play Again".
ReplyDeleteAt first I couldn't figure out how tom move the letters. Read the directions again... silly me, they were right in the instructions. Made it in 13 my first time. Cool game!
