I am completely failing to get the three stones puzzle at all.
"Three steps forward there is a rabbit on the right..." etc.
I got the other three keys fairly quickly.
what to do with the chessboard?
You have to make a pattern on the board. There's one symbol that looks pixellated, copy that...

Nice one, but the three stones puzzle is tricky...
@Boris: the last hint refers to two numeric wheels, so it refers to the aniaml wheel which follows two numeric wheels.

I notice there are several themes that keep appearing in this series of games. Having solved a few earlier ones definitely makes it much easier to solve the new ones.
I'm guessing you have to use the clippers on the hedge on the bird screen, where there is that patch of leaves. I have all the other keys, but I can't cut anything with those hedge clippers!

I used them on the green zone in the fish screen.

Three stones puzzle:
numeric wheel on the far left: three on the top
animal wheel on the far left: Rabbit on the right side
numeric wheel on the far left stone, right side: one is on the left side
animal wheel in the middle: snake on the top
numeric wheel on the middle stone: four is on top
animal wheel on the far right: horse on top
last numeric wheel: three on the bottom
