Don't worry about the 1 tpuch to die, because a little bit further there is a safepoint upgrade.

  7. Interesting game) Thanks, dear Bart)
I love the way as everything appear.
May be i didn't find all in the end, but still nice experience)

It made me remember about Nintendo game Mickey Mouse, where you see first black&white cartoon stages of game, and then little by little it becomes coloured)

  8. I can't open the second door where you meet the bats... any idea?

  9. Wooo, missed one chest and some coins!! But where????? O___O

  10. Actually there's loads of upgrades. There's the dungeon mode, the smart monster, the 'life-bar' which is called something else... once you get that one, make sure you only save when your life-bar is fullish. I saved it with only one hit to go and getting the final coins and chests is nigh impossible. There's quite a few coins to be got in dungeon mode. Out the walls and all. There's a chest near the start but I can't find the key for it. I got 10/11 coins and 37/39 chests. I'd go on but what with only one life left and those bloody bats...
    Fun game, though, thanks, Bart.

  12. Adrian, that door you can´t unlock is out of your reach. You were supposed to open it before other door. Inside, there is a coin and a key, to replace the one you used.

  13. One of the NPCs says you can 'push some rock' if you are stuck, but how is this done?? :O

    ReplyDelete
  14. Never mind found out - just had to 'push' a little harder :D

  15. I have the same problem: I can't push any rock, and I am stuck at the beginning, after unlock the first door with the key. What can I do?

    ReplyDelete
  16. 39/39 chests and 11/11 coins.
    Good little game.
The rock you are suppose to "push" is the one near the chest you can not reach. Just stab it with your sword.

  19. I am stuck in the dungeon, fell down a hole and got 2 chests, but I have no idea how to get the chest enclosed by stone.

  20. PyroLuna, kill all monsters near, and the stone will disappear

  21. are you suppose to fish something?

  23. OMG what a great time waster :-)

  24. cute idea- although i agree the beginning is a little headache-inducing until you get smoother scrolling....

  25. "You got: sound effects!"

    "You got: music!"

    Can I return them?

Cute game, but the sounds were irritating, and I found the movements too jerky and the monster-killing too finicky to continue through it.

  26. Hehe, finally I got all items and chests =)

  27. Is it just me, or is there something nasty about the way he uses his sword..

    ReplyDelete
  28. 3 coins - 3 chests missing :(
I had a lot of fun and it was really challenging for me, since all that bat killing is totally against my principles (and I suck at killing other things too...).
    Thank you, Bart, for sharing!

  32. Man, what a fun little game! The one-hit-kill thing was a bit aggravating, but I really liked this one over-all. (Also, was "Social Links" a reference to Personas 3 and 4? :D )

  33. I've been stabbing the very first stone door for 10 minutes. How long is this supposed to TAKE? I can't get past one door, that's kind of a deal breaker for me...

    ReplyDelete
  34. Oh god, talk to the character first. Got it!

  35. Crimeny too many of you are either too young or not very good at games where everything isn't given to you. Loved the game, can't wait for the bigger Steam version. :D

  36. Help! First time playing any video game other then Spider and Tetris. He gets stuck in the little hall to the Trap Door room when the gate closes. He won't move into room.

  38. Which door does the first key open?

    ReplyDelete
  39. To think this game EVOLVED so much since this little game.

This one is treasure. I loved it then and still do. But seems I've become much worse bc I'm totally stuck, not being able to use my key, no idea why xDDDD

Gotta cheat and look for a walthrough (if there's still one from this original Evoland lol)
