fractured
Help a lost boy find his mother in the puzzle platformer fractured by GroZZleR.
@ BF10, people like you need to chill out about the people that get to post "FIRST! :)". It's nice to be the first one to play the latest game and get to say that you were first. SO JUST CHILL!
@ Anon 15/1/13 23:17, Congrats to you on being first. Good for you. :)
Interesting game, would have liked to have a full read through of the poem at the end. The bonus levels weren't as hard as I expected and not as interesting without some sort of dialogue for them. Thanks for this one, Bart!
That was depressing...--the story, I mean. Learned something new, though; I am an awesome visualizer! Done in 15 minutes! (I feel pretty proud...) I LOVED IT!
Ok guys and girls, we southern people like to say first. So don't complain, k y'all? You're basically banishing us Southern's From the comments! And there are A LOT of southern people. So please, Don't complain! Complaining just makes it worse.
1) Stop with the "first"s; it's the lamest thing there is.
2) This game was a little weak I'm afraid. Mostly just turned out to be a lot of trial-and-error. Unresponsive controls and pretentious superfluous poetry just made it worse :(
It suprises me how insensitive some people can be. understand, i only read the first few comments and although some people called it sad, they didn't get the message. the music, the story, and fractures all bonded together beautifully to form a game with a real story that rung tears from my eyes. the graphics didn't quite fit with the story but i didn't mind, the poetry moved me especially because i write poetry too.the fractures made for a challenging game and i enjoyed that part.thanks for posting, Bart!
also, i don't see the problem with the "first" thing. It's a harmless comment and if you are really down on it, pay no attention. people who complain about it are either jealous cuz they weren't first, or need to reassess their life and the importance of being a jerk about it.
telling people to "stop with the firsts" is the most insulting thing i have ever heard! you can't just command someone to not do something.you could ask nicely and we might consider it but,you just don't do stuff like that. people make their own choices for what they want to post online. You shouldn't even be that concerned because, it's just a comment page on a gamers blog that does not alter the earth's course. chill out, dude!
'sigh'......just drop it. sorry i defended the "first" thing in the first place....... sorry to get you all in a stink. maybe we should all keep our mouths shut about what people post.(unless it's something nice)
Brilliant game, touched my heart. I think that the boy is trying to reach the ghost of his mother, who has just passed away. Each time he thinks his mother is still alive, so he tries to reach her, only for her to disappear each time. Each time the boy is going madder and madder, and his view of the world becomes more and more fractured. The narrator is clearly the mother, and she is telling us about firstly her son's madness, then about how she is trying to stop it ('against my panicked admonition', 'I battle on without despair'). However, she is failing to stop the boy's madness, who at the end, sees that he can't reach her, and either does one of two things, I can't identify which: finally gives up and his sanity is restored, or kills himself to be with her, as he can't reach her in the real world. Very moving game, best I've seen in a while.

FIRST! :)
Good game. Needed the walkthrough for the last bonus one.
Not much of a platform gamer, so this REALLY wasn't my cup of tea. Cool concept, though.
OMG! It's soooooooo HARD! Where is the walkthrough for this one?
Cool, challenging ,and fun, and hard.
@Anonymous 2 & 4: It's coming soon, it was published today.
This can be not much a platformer game, like Lizzie! said
@Anoymous 1: Don't say stuff like if you post the first post "FIRST!:)"
BF10

7th!
what now.
comment police.
i didn't like it. I am NOT a visuaal person.
Didn't think this was hard. The poem was better than the game, really.

I did it, even the hard ones!
with no help!
just loved it. thanks.
I've spent quite a lot of my energy (and used a couple of hints from the walkthrough...) in order to beat this game.
I need chocolate now.
@tam,
I hear that. :)
I'm so tired of playing depressing games. -.-
Whoa... Bizarre game play! I really like it, though. Thanks, Bart.

These pseudo profound games are getting on my nerves, to be honest. Focus on the gameplay, for dog's sake!
She sure has a sexy voice!
!!!SPOILER!!!
For those of you who want to see the whole poem, ive written it down.
"I hope and pray that I will find,
the child that I have left behind;
For as I hear the madness gloat,
a frightened scream rips from my throat;
A child's love, with blind ambition,
against my panicked admonition;
Into the heart of evil's lair,
I battle on, without dispair;
and search and wonder as I might,
I see no ending to my plight;
There is no point in searching more,
for I'm the one he's searching for."
TWENTIETH!!

Nice!
I don't really understand why he can't find her in the end!
Very touching, sad, and beautiful story...
And the idea of the broken picture is great!
People!
Saying first is not fun, it's just like getting no life like Anonymous 1.
Anoymous 6 & 7: You're both bullies
Dude, really? Let them first, while we get on with the games...
Speeking of which, I think I'm one of the few people who enjoyed this one.
wow- confusing- my brain hurts...
interesting concept though- good game
