shapik the quest
Explore the point and click world of Shapik and find his missing sister, solving puzzles on your way: Shapik the quest by Pavel Podberezko. And happy New Year of course!
I'm confused in the "fire room". I used the two clues to open up the panel, and now have 4 red/blue switches. Can't for the life of me find the clue, and can't seem to do anything else....
OK I found the code -- if you back out of the closeup on the dials and look to the right and left of the panel you'll see circles with tick marks in them. On the right side you'll see a circle with a bright blue tick. The four circles on the bottom right side of the panel give you the tick marks that work. Tick marking correspond to the blue tick of the dial. :)
I hate to stop because there is a single code I do not understand. I get frustrated and annoyed when I spent a long time to understand :(. Maybe there are several codes I do not understand, but there must be walkthrough for everything, so you do not sit and get annoyed instead of enjoying it. I'm trying to find the code for the robot, you say It should start with = but it tells me nothing .. Please help. :)
Have you broken the robot yet, if you pour water on it a couple times it will start showing the code, i'm stuck in the fire room trying to figure out what colors the buttons should be
I finished, but on the last two screens it was pretty much just trial and error for me, which is not very satisfying. Could not work out the codes in the furnace room, then could not figure out how to get the key by waking up the bad guy, but somehow got through anyway.
WIDY..I was going to give you a hint when I saw that there was a walkthroug on you tube. I myself was stuck where I was going out the door in the room with the robot. I have thrown water on him but can not figure out the code, but with walkthroug I am far juhuuu ... :-)
Cute game. Very "Samarost"-type feel to it. My brain isn't up to some of the codes this Saturday, but the rest was nice. At least the main character's conversations with the other characters helped me figure out what they wanted, so it wasn't completely random clicking.
complicated game. graphics were nice and it loaded well but too much was taken for granted that the player would know what to do. i resorted to comments, spoilers and walkthroughs several times out of pure desperation. also, did anyone else notice how the person wouldn't walk exactly where you clicked.....it was odd. thanks for posting, Bart!
Cute game, and very, very simple. Problem is: looking for hard stuff that just isn't there.
Yes, observation is needed to see the worm under the carriage and the key at the window. So, observe already!
Watering the robot is pretty easy. The number codes are simply how often to click the buttons starting from reset (all green). The code for the red-blue switches is there to be seen, on the panel.
I loved that game too. Searched for more games made by this Pavel Podberezko and didn't found anything... It's hard to find cute and challenging games like that!!

ReplyDeleteTiCKed me too
ReplyDeleteOk....I brute forced it. But if that was the "right" way to do it, then I don't like it. I prefer logic...
ReplyDeleteCute, but ultimately unsatisfying. (But I leave open the possiblity that I just missed something).

ReplyDeleteThanks for the tick mark hint. The rest of it was relatively linear. Interesting graphics. What ARE those things? Slugs?

ReplyDeletePyroLuna....Now I understand. When I keep watering the robot gives me the code....:-)

ReplyDeleteCute game. It does have a Samarost feel to it, but it is no where near as good as a Samarost game. Still, though, I liked it.
ReplyDeletewow! so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI got almost everything but (guess what) the codes :P
Thank you, Bart, for sharing
The codes were not logical to me, but loved the rest. Cute characters and great graphics. S
