400 years
A calamity is coming and you embark on a journey to stop it, but don't worry: you have 400 years to prevent it in this experimental platformer by Scriptwelder.
Nice one, Bart! I played through twice and managed to get a couple of achievements. Curious as to whether you can plant another chestnut and go beyond the next cliff after the, uh, ending...
I don't understand why all this people running away from me? I brought them some grain, I planted it. They're not hungry anymore! Why do they afraid of me? I'm sooo sad becouse of it..
First you have to harvest the grain and plant it at the village. Then you have to wait years for the village to grow big enough to give you a helping hand.
the concept is good but there are flaws...there is no reset button, i got trapped behind a tree too.i eventually quit because i'm impatient and had to keep reloading it. I desperatly need a reset button! thanks for posting, bart!!!<3
Got all the way to the end with the volcano and seem to have failed to fix it... I waited on top of that thing for 200 years, thinking I was supposed to plug it up or something. The world burned to ash. I do not think I succeeded in my task.
interesting concept, but VERY slow- maybe if easter island stone guy moved faster?? and took awhile to figure out how to get the villagers to help. not sure what to do with the second chesnut in the village with the boat- tried to cross the river and it turned to dust....
Cute. But tedious because of the characters' slow movement. Neat idea though. Hopefully it will grow into a series. This complete game feels like 1 level in a bigger game. Thanks for sharing!
What do you have to do for the people to stop being afraid of you and eat the wheat grain you planted? I waited until their houses were made out of logs, but they still run away from me! I tried crossing all the bridges, found more villages with the same problem, then I got stuck in a cave.
Very interesting... (first!)
ReplyDeleteHey man that's no fair I wanted to put first.
ReplyDeleteNice one, Bart! I played through twice and managed to get a couple of achievements. Curious as to whether you can plant another chestnut and go beyond the next cliff after the, uh, ending...
ReplyDeleteNice. Now I want to do it again to see how many years I wasted the first time. :)
ReplyDeleteInteresting game. The secret is wait for things to happen.
ReplyDeleteNice one I like these kinds of games
ReplyDeleteWondering what do do to have someone lend a hand...
ReplyDelete"The world has burned to ashes." ROFL.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand why all this people running away from me? I brought them some grain, I planted it. They're not hungry anymore! Why do they afraid of me? I'm sooo sad becouse of it..
ReplyDeleteI need a helping hand: What can I do to find the helping hand?
ReplyDeleteNice game.
ReplyDeleteWhen you need a helping hand: you must only wait.
waiting...like minutes or years?
ReplyDeletethe person who created this game had apparently no idea on how a volcano works.
ReplyDeleteand another aspect is the issue of mysticism, which is never touched upon ... as such, a very shallow game.
ReplyDeleteim confused on how you help the village and get a helping hand

ReplyDeleteI like the concept of this game, but the ending was very unsatisfying. I think more could be done with this framework.
ReplyDeleteNice game, horible graphics.

I like this game.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I'm not sure if the ending I saw, a flying airplain, is the best one.
Really interesting, but too slow, I'm bored =(
ReplyDeletethis game is way too slow
ReplyDeleteFirst!
ReplyDeleteGot all the way to the end with the volcano and seem to have failed to fix it... I waited on top of that thing for 200 years, thinking I was supposed to plug it up or something. The world burned to ash. I do not think I succeeded in my task.
ReplyDeletetry climbing down the volcano...
ReplyDeleteHow do you get past the boat with your chestnut intact?
ReplyDeleteNever mind.. Ya, lame ending..
ReplyDeleteWell, maybe the character moves a bit slowly... but the game's idea is very nice! :)
ReplyDeletenice game! but the stone (or whatever that was) went so slowly… and i didn't get the end
ReplyDeleteinteresting concept, but VERY slow- maybe if easter island stone guy moved faster?? and took awhile to figure out how to get the villagers to help. not sure what to do with the second chesnut in the village with the boat- tried to cross the river and it turned to dust....
ReplyDeletealso a reset button would be good also

ReplyDeleteHere's to you, curious unknown traveler between worlds. RIP
ReplyDeleteWhen is your next developer interview? I enjoyed the one with Minoto but that seems such a long time ago.
ReplyDeleteit is quite confusing, the helping hand stuff got me stuck too :(( but nice idea bye the way
ReplyDeleteOkay, I'm pretty sure a volcano isn't going to wipe out the entire earth. It's common sense. Still this is a fun game.
ReplyDeleteVery boring. the gray thing moves super slow, and the village wont give me a helping hand!!!
