a rabbit fable
A rabbit wants to live in the land he had always dreamed of, but being rejected, finds himself in a disturbing swamp inhabited by bizarre creatures: A rabbit fable, a surreal point and click adventure by Antennaria Games.
It looked like Samorost, and could have been a really good game. But it's weird and you use many clicks on nothing. I do not understand it and think it's boring. ;-)
I gave up after the cat ate my angle. Maybe it's a character flaw, but it irritates me when everyone is speaking a language I don't understand and can't learn.
This is and was a total waste. The rabbit moved way to slow, clicking aimlessly on nothing, getting bits and pieces at a snails pace. I did manage to figure out that you have to get the ball of yarn from right of tree to give to cat that swallowed the piece to get it back. Other than that...I'm through with this one!
I really enjoyed this one, except for the movement speed. I didn't want him to run or anything, but it would have been nice to either move slightly faster or not have to go back and forth multiple times so slowly. The concept was great and I liked the animation style. Interesting story too. Thanks for this one, Bart!
If only positive comments are allowed, then we're not providing honest feedback. If I were a game developer, I would want to know what aspects of my games people were less than happy with, so I could make my next game better. I'm sure that's how Bart feels.
Wow, Alice in Wonderland freakish and creepy. Would be much more fun to play if it was faster. I was thoroughly entertained watching the walkthrough instead of playing.
I'm having a problem with the tear part, too. I keep clicking near the eye of that orangish-red rabbit, but nothing happens. I actually like this game. The movement speed could be faster, though. Unfortunately, I'll just watch the walkthrough, since I can't get pass that area :( .
I don't even know where to start. Bart why do you still put these escape and point and click games? In 2007 you specifically said that when making "the Bonte room" a lot of people had trouble. For the love of god just stop making these damn games
I love point and click games and I love escape games even more. I liked the Bonte Room, but this sucks. the movement is too slow and somehow at one point I lost the rabbit. he like walked behind a tree or something and refused to come out no matter where I clicked. I could still hear him stomping about. At that point I decided this is too frustrating. Like the creepy story and animation but if you can't actually play the game, all of that is kind of pointless.
hmmm... tricky for a sad little dummy like me...
ReplyDeleteCould'nt quite wrap my simple mind around this one..:(
ReplyDeleteGot through it, but i'm not sure if it's just weird or awesome...

ReplyDeleteWTF? Finished but not sure what I finished.

ReplyDeleteThere is NO WAY I will even start this one. I checked the length of the walkthrough and it's in two parts and is over 22 minutes long! PASS!
ReplyDeleteFinished it. Rather odd, to say the least...

ReplyDeleteIt's a bit weird... Maybe a little bit too weird... And sllllloooooooowwwwww....
ReplyDeleteso slow... but nice and with nice scary music
ReplyDeleteTruely incredible game, and worth the slow movement. Please, quit your complaining!

ReplyDeleteActually, i was saying you were not giving the game a chance for any feedback other than slowness
ReplyDeleteHaving trouble with getting the tear. The game freezes every time at that point. Anybody else having that problem?
ReplyDeleteThat cackling duck guy...will be in my nightmares tonight. :/
ReplyDeletestrange little game....

ReplyDeleteI hope this designer makes more games like this.

ReplyDeleteDid somebody found a solution for the 'tear-freeze-problem'?
