escape the zoo
You fell asleep while visiting the zoo, so now you're all alone and really must find a way to escape the zoo in the latest escape game by Selfdefiant.
The monkeys are kind enough to give you the code for the lever box, but I can't get the code for the grey box at the gate, or whatever is needed for the men's room dispenser. The code isn't 1720 but you're close. Didn't try other numbers once I knew the right one.
I can not see the logic in that ccxxxvll can become 2 3 7 .. Two c's = 2, 3 x's = 3, and we know that yll is = 7 but who can know it to be such. It is an easy game but the two codes is not logical and makes the game bad: (
Ha ha ha! I also had problems with the more patent clue: 2000-277.... can't believe it! :)
@Anonymous 00:02 the red box shows 1720 only AFTER you select the right number, which is not 1720 but (as Insanitee said) very close to it: just do your math ;)
Seriously??? People have never seen Roman Numerals before??? How is this not completely obvious to anyone? IX is 9. VIII is 8. XXII is 22. And of course, CCXXXVII is 237. Yes, it's logical, and yes, it's obvious, and no, it doesn't "make the game bad". It's not a puzzle at all. It's just notation. I could have explained this when I was ten years old.
Tom. I know most Roman numerals. And yet it was not logical to me. I have so just admit that you are so much smarter than I am. ... I'm sure that even if people know the individual figures, they have certainly difficult when there are several. But now I know how smart you are ....
I made it! I was stuck on the levers near the gate for a while, because I thought there was a code, but I was just overthinking it.
I also don't have any problems with Roman numerals. They're not that difficult to figure out, but you can see why our numbers are used instead of those.
Got it - not too hard.
ReplyDeleteNice and easy
ReplyDeleteFun, but not that thought provoking...:)
ReplyDeletemUST BE AN IDIOT THEN, CANNOT FIND GOLD KEY
ReplyDeleteTo find the gold key you have to open the toilet paper dispenser in the men's restroom.
ReplyDeletebut where does the code go? wont work at front gate.
ReplyDeleteI can't figure out how to get the gold key out, what do the levers have to do with?
ReplyDeleteYes, the code from the restroom does work at the front gate. Then push all the levers to the red to free the key.
ReplyDeleteIs this a flonga game or hooda or is it one in the same??
ReplyDeleteThe sign says, closed 2000-277. And why this gives 1720 on the red box....Sorry i'm to stupid. Just can't se why? 2000-277= 1720?????

ReplyDeleteAh figured it out finally. It was a fun quick one.

ReplyDeleteI't might be also 2 5 2, or else ..
Insanitte.....On the closet door on toielettet is ccxxxvll.
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha!

just a little fyi,
c=100. 2 c's (cc)=200.
x=10. 3 x's (xxx)=30.
v=5. i=1. 2 i's (ii)=2. vii=5+2=7
ccxxxvii=200+30+7=237.
hope this helps. sorry if it's a little bit confusing. I was never that great at explaining things.

ReplyDeleteFun little game! Thanks for sharing this one, Bart!
ReplyDeleteLots of math in this one...
ReplyDeleteEasy to figure out...especially when the hot spots are obvious.

ReplyDeleteThis was a fun simple game. I just want to know who puts the grating back in the reptile cages and why they never let us out?
ReplyDeleteYoo Hoo!!! I did it all by my self!!
ReplyDeleteI feel badly leaving the gate open.
ReplyDeleteenjoyed the game.
ReplyDeletethanks
enjoyed the game.
ReplyDeletethanks
i know this is nitpicking, but... frogs are amphibians! there should not be a frog in the reptile room...
ReplyDeletethis is KRIS...
ReplyDeletefun! i missed the thing on top of the microwave for a while. funally got it. :o)
i found this i little tricky at first, but then i just went on a roll.i didn't really get the maths ones. they were tricky
