kids room
A new escape the room exercise by MyGames888: can you escape from kids room?
Done. I was stuck with the crown key for a while. If you were at the same point I was, go back and look for a place to use the screwdriver (which you should have found by then).
The screwdriver is part of something you've probably already found. Examine everything you have very carefully. Sometimes you need to go back to an item (or a puzzle).
done that got the 2 fruit, i had to re start as i couldn''t get back. i had the box but not the key and couldn't get my dino back to get the key so stuck what am i missing?
You never have to restart. You can always get the items you still need. There is another way to get the dino back, but you need to understand how the mechanism works. And that's enough hints from me...
All I have is the star (which I used for the dino) and the stegosaurus. I saw the code on the back, but i can't figure it out...even with the bed hint! HELP!
Well, I am stuck. I can't find the pink dino or crown key or open the cupboard with all the circles. Nor can I figure out what to do with the robot's hand. I have the scissors, screwdriver, and globe. Any hints for me?
this one was really hard for me. i had to look at the walkthrough many times which i absolutely hate doing because it completely ruins the satisfaction of completing. and I just have to say, those colors that the robot's eye flashes. need to be a lot clearer. most of the colors didn't look anything like the puzzle's colors. and I am NOT colorblind at all.
@ Kari, thanks for responding :o) all I have is the yellow star! I know I need a screwdriver for the globe and the robot wants to hold something else. Others are talking about a dino and fruit!! The star and square puzzle, well where to start..... A small clue would help for my next step, trying not to use the walkthrough that has now been shared :o)
I wish I could say I did this on my own, but I needed help from these comments and a nudge from the walkthrough. I could complain about the illogical shift of the location of the pink dinosaur, but that would be nit-picking. Very good room escape. One more clue...you need a blue object for the blue plate...and you had one at one time. That was the hint I needed the most.
Actually, upon replaying, the pink dino location shift makes perfect sense (except the distance between the positions are not proportional to what happens in the cut scene...but that's really nit-picking.) The colors on the cube relate to the colors of the walls, floor, and ceiling. I KNEW that had to come into play at some point. =) Again, it was a really good one, Bart. Thanks.
so stuck with the crown key dont know what to do with it gurr
ReplyDeleteHave found a pink key and one purple dino...have no idea what to do
ReplyDeleteDone. I was stuck with the crown key for a while. If you were at the same point I was, go back and look for a place to use the screwdriver (which you should have found by then).
ReplyDeleteWhere is the screwdriver?? O:
ReplyDeletei found two places for the screwdriver still stuck,
ReplyDeleteThe screwdriver is part of something you've probably already found. Examine everything you have very carefully. Sometimes you need to go back to an item (or a puzzle).
ReplyDeleteit is the green dino tail
ReplyDeleteIf you've done everything you need to do with the screwdriver, then you should be able to do something new with the robot.
ReplyDeleteThe harder step was to find the pink dino again in order to get the crown key back...
ReplyDeletedone that got the 2 fruit, i had to re start as i couldn''t get back. i had the box but not the key and couldn't get my dino back to get the key so stuck
ReplyDeletewhat am i missing?

ReplyDeleteagghhh - have the pink key and opened a draw and that's it. Can't get anything else at all. HELP!
ReplyDeleteAll I have is the star (which I used for the dino) and the stegosaurus. I saw the code on the back, but i can't figure it out...even with the bed hint! HELP!
ReplyDeleteFIRST! :D
ReplyDeleteI'm stuck with the box, help! Is there a walkthrough?
ReplyDeletethe dot pattern is on the cube from the treasure chest.
ReplyDeleteThere is a Qube in top part of the treasure chest...
ReplyDelete-RR-
Tom's comment "Sometimes you need to go back to an item (or a puzzle)" was very useful!
ReplyDeleteno help or walkthroughs then? how about a hint to open any box at all? pick one and give me a clue!
ReplyDeleteI'm stuck on finding this "treasure chest" i have the crown key, apple and bananas. Any help??
ReplyDeleteFor one of the boxes: use the color code on the back of the stegosaurus to match up with the the one on the bed for the drawer with the 4 colors
Help!! pulling my hair out here...
ReplyDeleteCaroline, what are you stuck on?

ReplyDeleteMy globe is gone, and I didn't do anything with it yet!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I do it myself.
ReplyDeletethanx Bart, great game!

Whimsical puzzles, not always the most logical. Enjoyed it greatly, didn't need a walk-through just the nice hints here!
ReplyDeleteYou find the pink dino again if you lose it. Keep looking behind every panal possible!

ReplyDeleteI was lost a couple of times. Thanks for your hints and the walkthrough!
ReplyDeleteNice game, I enjoyed it.
(and I agree with Anonymous 22 March 2013 21:50 about the colours: I was stuck with them until I watched the walkthrough)
ReplyDeleteVery Nice Bart. Thanks for the link.
ReplyDeleteI got confused but managed it eventually. The key is not to rush but to think and reuse several items.

ReplyDeleteThe colours have been changed. White has replaced the pink/purple. Nice quick response to feedback [claps]
ReplyDeleteNice one! Deceptively simple, but with several novel twists. I really enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteIt takes a while to realise that things have multiple uses, and you have to reuse and repurpose items that seem to be solved.
More please.

well that was nice, although a little bit long. I did by myself thanks 4 sharing...
ReplyDeleteIf you think this one is tough try their "Sunken Room" escape game. Whew!!
ReplyDeleteNice and long! =)I was a little lost trying to find the crown key again, but I did it.
ReplyDeleteWhat walkthrough?
ReplyDeleteNice game. Makes you remember where stuff was so you can reuse it.
ReplyDeletei couldn't finish this game even if i used a walkthrough!
ReplyDeletedid it by myself :))
ReplyDeleteThat was the best real escape ever! I love the mini ones, but the continuity of the pink dino moving and using a different key was brilliant!
ReplyDelete***** stars!
