baba yaga
So what do you do once you get captured by a witch? Look around, there are plenty of magical items at her house in the latest point and click adventure by Pastel Games: baba yaga.
Thanks for the 5th feather ! You have to pay attention to their orientation: - if one little cog between two big, use the same orientation - if 2 lil cogs, change the orientation - and so on...
I managed to get the dwarf free, prepared the chameleon skin and the three plants. I believe I need to find 3 little flowers now to complete the elixir. Does anyone have an idea where I can get them ?
Ahhhhhhh! I finally managed to figure out the windmill puzzle and when the cog animation began my computer crashed. Fyi to people who are considering buying a chromebook, don't get one if you plan on doing anything other than light internet browsing. This thing is absolutely terrible for almost all things you do on a computer/tablet.
The way I figured out the cog puzzle was from that scrap of paper, which tells you that the sequence of cogs must be left then right. So I randomly put a right cog in a missing space, and then counted from there making sure every other cog was a right cog. It didn't work. So then I put a left cog in my original missing space, and went around making sure they alternated direction, and it worked! My big issues was finally realizing that you could turn the page on the book on the book stand. How stupid did I feel??
I just wanted to post this updated comment about the game. I had earlier problems with it, but it was not because of the game itself, but my stupid chromebook unable to handle even light amounts of flash gaming. I just wanted to clarify this, as I am a huge fan of pastelgames as well as anything Mateusz Skutnik is involved in (of which his projects are always high quality). I did eventually beat the game after feeding my chromebook some chocolates and letting it sleep a bit.
A little disappointed... To recap: The key was useless. The color of the cards were useless as was the color/order of the same colored vials that you can shake. The color of the books were useless as was the color/order of the same colored spice boxes that you can shake. I messed with those colors for a long time, convinced there was a connection!
Okay, I have no idea how to get mana and I can't find the "spinning wheel" that's supposed to be under the table in the kitchen according to the walkthrough. I find anything to click on under there.
Also, jinn means genie for the person who was asking.
I can't find the fifth feather !
ReplyDeleteIt's on the right side of the chest.
ReplyDeleteim stuck at the windmill, is there a special way f arranging the cogs?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the 5th feather !

ReplyDeleteWhere are the three flowers to the elixir...? The only thing I'm missing...
ReplyDeletei'm stuck after cutting the second rope of the dawrf. What is to do next?
ReplyDeleteUse the spell from the dwarf on the branches behind the bed, they will grow...
ReplyDeleteDid it, with a bit help from the walktrough.
ReplyDeleteOk, I'm stuck with a bunch of stuff that I can't use..
ReplyDeleteI have access to a lamp that I can't rub with anything.
I need to water a plant, but I can't seem to find anything to carry water with.
And I desperately need mana.. I tried to cut the witch with both knives that are at my disposal, but the damn woman keeps flying away.
Any help? Or a specifically strong net of some sort?
Stuck, how do I get the golden knife?
ReplyDeleteTip for those stuck: try to combine objects in your inventory..
ReplyDeleteNow THAT was fun! :)
ReplyDeleteAnother good game from Pastel, had the hardest time finding the last feather but otherwise no trouble. Thanks Bart.
ReplyDeleteExcellent game! I had a lot of fun, thank you, Bart :)
ReplyDeletenice game, lot of fun!

ReplyDeleteSame here. Solved windmill puzzle and browser crashed. WinXP/Opera. No way I'll do this over again.

ReplyDeleteNice game. Most clues are not needed. I think the gears don't work till you find the note.
ReplyDeleteIt seems like some of the items weren't used. One of my gold coins wasn't needed at all, I think.
ReplyDeletewhere's the fifth feather? I read it 's on the right side of the chest, what chest? where is it?
ReplyDeleteagh! the stupid cog puzzle is screwing me up! help me please!
ReplyDeleteagh! i'm stuck on the cog puzzle!
ReplyDeletealso, lizzie, what scrap of paper? where?
A little disappointed...

I am so confused and this walkthrough barely helps. (What on earth is the "jinn"??) (And the red herrings aren't helping either!)
ReplyDeleteUgh so many red herrings in this game... like a 2:1 red herring to actual clue ratio. :-/

I had the wheel key and tried to open the chest with it and it disappeared.. Anyone else have this problem?
ReplyDeletehow do you get the silver knife? I have the bronze and gold but not silver.
