this is not a minimalist game
Solve the puzzles and get the world back the way it was... or not, in this is not a minimalist game by Volute made in 48 hours for the 'minimalism' themed Ludum Dare 26 game jam.
@ Jane F, when you get the map use 1,2,3 ect. on your keyboard. 2 will get you to the quarry. You will need to go there twice to get the squares. Make sure that you get 5 white ones and and 1 red one.
Squares: keep talking to the rectangle until it gives you a map. This will allow you to travel to a new location to find squares.
Signs: I was able to move things along by dropping a red square and placing the "This is not a square" sign on top of it. I was also right in front of the talking rectangle when I did it. I don't know which of these factors were absolutely necessary.
I'm not sure what to do after the mirror. The city man keeps asking me if I've seen myself, and I have. I've even placed a bunch of things in front of the mirror and I've looked in all of the other locations. What's the deal with the mirror?
You don't have to press the X button lots of times to start. I think the problem was the game didn't have focus, so: click the game, then press X should start the game, cheers!
When a new bontegame? I'm having different things in the pipeline, keep your eyes open here ;) Or follow my twitter or the bontegames facebook for progress on my personal projects.
WOW AMAZING GAME! Although I must say I preferred it all in white. Insane ending, I wonder what on earth made them think of that! But I'm glad the friend was a girl, I liked it a lot.
FIRST! :)
ReplyDeleteI don't get it. I'm stuck on the "5 Squares" level and I only have one square. What am I supposed to do?

ReplyDeleteWhat do you do after the mirror? People who ask and then figure out, don't just come back to tell us you've figured it out... tell us how! >.>
ReplyDeleteAh, okay. I picked up everything and placed it in front of the mirror. I think you probably only need one of everything.
ReplyDeleteIn the description it says "Get the world back to the way it was... or not." So maybe it ends at the mirror part.
