lift
A new escape the room exercise by MyGames888: can you escape from lift?
The word of five letters is found written in pink on a green octagon. If you can't figure out how to make it, you've got the wrong code. Well, you've got the right code, but the pink triangle is pointing the wrong way.
All codes are entered in the same way (but not in the same place!). If you don't have enough squares in your display to enter the 5 and 6 letter codes, maybe you could find some more squares somewhere.
The trapdoor is unlocked, but getting to it is a problem... Maybe you can climb on top of the red cabinet...s...
Loved this one. One of the best escape games I've played. Only medium-hard difficulty, all of the puzzles made sense, not a lot of "noise", and not a lot of pixel-hunting. Overall a really good escape game.
Pretty good. Bit hard to get started, and then spent quite a bit of time making the word LIFT (which doesn't work). After that it was steady progress (no problem with the red tap) and a nice exit device.
Bug: absolutely does not work in FF for me. Works fine in Chrome and IE.
Picky: red cabinet side view misbehaves until it has been moved; too much stuff that does nothing.
An interesting twist with the levels. I had a bit of a tricky time with the clocks and the positions to get started on the block puzzle but enjoyed working with the letters. Thanks Bart!
first :))))))))))))))))

ReplyDeleteWhat are you supposte to do with the five-(six?)letter code? :)
ReplyDelete*supposed ofc :)
ReplyDeleteso annoying...
ReplyDeletehow do you open the trapdoor?
ReplyDeleteGot it. Took me a while to realize what the blank letter shape was for, but other than that it wasn't too bad.

ReplyDeleteGot out! I found it challenging and I enjoyed it quite a lot. :-)
ReplyDeleteOh god... this is going to sound stupid, but what do you do with the screwdriver once you make it?
ReplyDelete*smacks forehead against desk repeatedly* Never mind.
ReplyDeleteso frustrating! some moves don't make sense at all
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeletearrgg stuck lol, got the screwdriver, the 4 squares plate and the blank plate, cant work out what to do next

ReplyDeleteThat was so very cool. Tricky, but solvable. Love the games by this designer! Thanks, Bart!
ReplyDeleteMy only question...was there ever an item for the first inventory box? Mine stayed empty, which makes me think I missed something.
ReplyDeletethe silver part of the screwdriver goes in the 1st box

i had such a hard time at first but now im ok. it was fun doing it because i have windows 8
ReplyDeleteGood game. Only sticky bit is due to the overly large view of the little # display when in your inventory.

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I finally did it!
ReplyDeleteActually one of the first games I've escaped without any hint ;-)
ReplyDeleteLoved it a lot!
