what box?
You're a box trying to find a way out: What box? by Sergi Lázaro and Oriol Prat. (note: requires the Unity webplayer)
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its so cute!!!!!!!! the little boxie!!!!!!!!1 and a short and fun and entertaining game! good one bart! thanks for sharing it!!!!!!
There are only a handful of levels, then you end up back at the start. Very disappointing to not at least see the box make it outside.
The controls are tied to your "main" view, but that doesn't switch very fast, so you can be halfway through an area by navigating on the smaller screens when it decides to switch and that button you were pushing to go towards the wall suddenly has you walking away again... very disorienting. This game would've been a lot more intuitive without the main screen.
A very nice concept and I liked the art work, but the controls could use some rethinking.
A fun little game, until I got a game breaking glitch. I believe it was like the third or fourth level (it looked like a parking garage with pillars and such. I had just only found and triggered the red switch, and on leaving the camera angle, I got glitched into a wall and was stuck. Had to quit. Won't be coming back, wasn't worth starting over.
First!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to the Unity Web Player...
BUGGY. Stuck within wall.
ReplyDeleteThe basic idea is to complicate 3D orientation and navigation by not offering a first or third person view?
Hm, ... weak in my opinion, allthough quite difficult.
To be more precise: Problem was very similar to what Jam6i said on 17 August 2013 21:07. Same level, stuck on the right side of the pic.
ReplyDeleteI was to curious .. so I started over even though I wasn't sure it was worth another try.
This time I ended up loosing the box while switching from one level to another. So I have an empty screen and nothing happens ...
Yes, box is lost when pressing space whilst level switching ...
ReplyDeleteLooks like a cross between Metal Gear and Portal. I love it!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd the box is so adorable!!!
