deeper sleep
If you like your point and click adventures very dark and creepy, you'll like Scriptwelder's latest deeper sleep.
I've gotten to the shack in the woods with the waterwheel. How do I keep the door in the shack open? I can't seem to combine my needle and bag in any way to sew up the bag's holes so it can hold rocks or anything for that matter.
Oh! Cool game. I only collected 13/15 notes and I died at least four times... Now I need to turn on all the lights before moving around the house... Good job, Scritpwelder ;)
"to be continued". now i will impatiently wait for the next episode. i didn't ever use the plushie. i could set it on the bunk beds, but nothing happened.
I have never heard of the original game, so I played it before the sequel.
The original is just fantastic!
However there's a game breaking flaw in the sequel where, when you "die" by one of the enemies (in the screwdriver/elevator scene) the game goes to a continue screen but doesn't let off, forcing you to restart the game. Fairly stupid, and something that should have been caught in testing.
I won't be going through it again. I can't stand glitches that completely break a game.
Had to try Ep. one first , it was great. I died when I dropped the screwdriver and continued from outside the elevator on floor 1. I forgot the kid's name was Cody & guessed wrong. Had a blast!
Oh ya , if your stuck at the net in game one --- use it with the hook where you find the hook (bottom of broken stairs) to go up to window. I saw a guide that said tiled kitchen area stairs -wrong-
first!
ReplyDeletefirst!
ReplyDeleteGreat game :)
ReplyDeleteremembering the first episode, i had a bad feeling opening the door with the code again :O

ReplyDeleteMich,
ReplyDeleteYou need a thread from the scarecrow as well (think it was outside the first path up).
Then collect soil, stones and flour.
@ Mich, find the scarecrow for a piece of thread to go with the needle and bag, then you'll need rocks, flour & dirt to fill the bag.
ReplyDeleteI don't know the code to the door downstairs
ReplyDelete@ Anonymous
ReplyDeletethe code for the door is written inside the dark room at the beginning (library level). You need a flashlight and batteries

Good Game. Wish the graphics were a little better.
ReplyDeleteBug? Infinite loop on floor 2: You are dead. Continue. You are dead. Continue. You are dead. Continue. <...> Reloading doesn't help.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind pixel graphic normally but here it is a bit too much. I gave up

ReplyDeleteYou should be able to find a screwdriver on the 2nd floor. Use that to open the panel by the elevator door.
I found the screwdriver, but then I was eaten by a ghost and got stuck on a death screen in an infinite loop.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know if the plushie does anything?

The SD scene was very good!
ReplyDeleteI like the game very much and it gave me the creeps several times.
@ ? & DarthMom
ReplyDeleteThe plushie is from part 1, deep sleep. In the first part there were words on one of the walls which said, "Cody is lost without his plushie tiger."
If you put the plushie tiger on the bed with Cody's name tag, you get a "bonus" at the end of the game.
Excellent game Bart! thanks!

Creepiest thing in this game ? The clown poster and its numerous changes!

ReplyDeleteThe developper said on Kongregate he "though he fixed that", so I guess he hadn't yet. Clear your cache (start again) is the only option.
