find the invisible cow
Do you have a spare minute to find the invisible cow? It's hiding right behind the shouting...
Ooookay... I found 3 cows and then another one with the expert mode... What strikes me is that we globally found 1'818'213 cows (and four are mines)... But then, I was already satisfied by shouting "first"... :)
Okay, got it doing something in Chrome. I move the cursor and, from time to time, it seems to react by changing the tone and apparent location of the source, but my points never change.
I sure hope this game dynamic never catches on, as I would hate to be playing a game with anything either invisible or sound dependent. I always turn the sound off on simple games.
On a unrelated note I just discovered how to use the spell check. When yoou type in a word wrong, as I just did, right click the word for a list of suggestions. Also you can add new words.
Found an interesting bug(feature?). If the cow happens to be hiding right where you click the play again button you find him instantly. Also, after listening to a few solid minutes of nothing but "cow, cow, Cow! COW! COW!!!!!" it starts sounding like other words.
A fun webtoy for a short time, but I don't think it's worth donating money towards. I think an excellent determiner of whether or not something is worth donating for is if the internet would miss it if it were gone. And this, really, is not something the internet would be missing were it to disappear.
Yeah! First :)

ReplyDeleteMe too - 403 - Forbidden Error :-(((
ReplyDeleteI think the cow is back! Moo!
ReplyDeleteamusing, but seriously, he expects a donation for so little work? On that basis I would send you billions Bart.
ReplyDeleteNow it says this:
ReplyDeleteThis is a web experiment

ReplyDeleteCan't say I'm real impressed with this one.
when your not on the page put have it open it STILL says cow, just slowly. I cant find the cow.
ReplyDeleteI think knowing game script would help make this game look less simple and bare, but I never took much programming.

ReplyDeleteI'm just glad the word wasn't Hippopotamus!
ReplyDeleteA bit simple for my taste. I found two cows (one on expert, one not) and the game's already boring. I also don't like that it's sound dependent.

ReplyDeleteafter listening to the cowcowcowcowcow it begins to sound like meowmeowmeowmeowmeowmeowmeow
ReplyDeleteThat was incredibly cute!
ReplyDeleteI think I'm going crazy

ReplyDeleteThought this was totally obnoxious at first, but now it makes me laugh every time. ;-)
ReplyDeleteFound this pretty obnoxious...
