inarin
The latest escape game by Robamimi: can you escape from the room in inarin?
Do you have to know what some of those Chinese symbols mean to be able to escape? I have a branch that I've put on the stump, a fire and ground stone, and a picture (dark). I put the picture in the dark room, and some weird symbols appear. I'm completely stuck. I clicked on the hint, but I have no idea what "Hiragana letter Su I Na Ri Ko Nn" means.
I had to google an image of a hiragana chart. Hiragana is a component of Japanese. I still had trouble matching the symbols, it's a bit like the difference between cursive and printing for English.
Hey Bart, I just wanted to let you know that the ad below the game has a "Malicious Content" warning that comes up and causes any internet connection to crash. It seems like a lot of the ads on here have been like that lately.
I'm out! After I figured out the Hiragana puzzle (thanks Jaymar), it was pretty easy. I don't get why giving the fox some sushi got you out of the room, but other than that, fun game!
The English version of this game has been improved. It's no longer necessary to look up Hiragana, as it originally was. Instead, it now uses English (Roman) letters. Once that change was made, I was able to solve it without any web searches or hints.
In Shinto myths, Inari is the kami of harvests, fertility, rice, agriculture, foxes, industry, and worldly success. I'd say giving an offering is directly related to our "successful" escape! :)
Thanks for sharing this with us, Bart! This was a lovely and relaxing escape.
Well I just had to go look at the new English version, and sure it is going to be easier, but it looks lame, and I never would have learned about Hiragana up here in Canada.
Ok, I'm missing something... I have five stones out of six, putting the wind and water stones lifted the black panel... and now what? The box with the three number code is still closed...
tout simplement superbe !
ReplyDeleteHiragana puzzle is hard to read. Try 28 20 6 12 49 41 if you have seen the dark.
ReplyDeleteOK I fed your rat, now what ? no ending? Ah well it was fun I guess.
ReplyDeleteAgree that Hiragana puzzle is hard to read, at least the 4 and 5 symbols. So thanks for the hint!
ReplyDeleteSo no one else has said it...
ReplyDeleteFIRST!
Out! Used Google for the Hiragana letter....

ReplyDeleteThanks, Jaymar. I'll Google it myself.

ReplyDeleteNice, but Japanese with English subtitles kind of spoiled it. Also too many special effects.
ReplyDeleteHint: you still need one stone. Did you ever see in the dark room?
For the last stone you have to go to the handbell (after lifting the panel)
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed this one. Not difficult, but different.
ReplyDeletetotally dont understand how i was supposed to figure out the order of the stones...had to use a screenshot..
