scaling the sky
Jump, swim and climb the clouds in the dreamy platformer scaling the sky by William Felkner, Chelsea Howe and Michael Molinari, made in 48 hours for the SF Indie Game Jam.
Really simple game, but still impressive for only 48 hours of work. I do have a question, though. Why is she swimming up waterfalls and climbing up rainbows only to end up right back where she started?
Certainly didn't expect to end up where I did! Interesting game, pretty great graphically for 48 hours. Thanks for sharing this with us, Bart! :)
ReplyDeleteFelt a bit cheated when I realised I'd gone round in circles :D
ReplyDeletemeh
ReplyDeleteAwesome game, I also didn't expect the ending.
ReplyDeletebeautifull!! And it was so poetic!!
ReplyDeleteI loved it!!
There's an actual ending?
ReplyDeleteRats. Guess I'll have to play again and just be more patient.

ReplyDeleteWell, this game is impossible to play on a laptop. :(
ReplyDeleteI also found it impossible to play on my slightly older laptop running Linux. Way too gummy, and in an uneven way.
ReplyDeleteStill, impressive for a 48-hour project.

ReplyDelete@Stevens Miller In Linux I had to switch to using Epiphany over using firefox to stop it being so sticky to use.
ReplyDeleteIs there an actual ending?
Taking a while to load.
ReplyDeleteAlmost halfway there...

ReplyDeletefirst!!!!!!!!!!!!! :P
ReplyDeletePretty cool game to have put together in 48 hours! Reminds me a bit of Ecco the Dolphin when you reach the floating water parts.
ReplyDeleteMinecraft physics, but with circles.
ReplyDeleteIs there a REAL ENDING or are you just supposed to end up where you started?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteHere's another perspective on the game and ending:
