The latest escape game by Robamimi: can you escape from the room in words? (alternative link)
That one was really frustrating for me. Even after having gotten the answers from a walkthrough, I still don't know how you're supposed to know what order to place the pink word cards or how they relate to Month.
Order them in such a way that in the first word there exists the letter "M", in the second word there has to be an "O", in the third word there should be a "N" and so on. There is only one way that it fullfills all these requirements.
Anyone figured out how to load a saved game? I saved my game just before shutting down, then after restarting, I couldn't find a way to load the saved game and resume where I left off. It just put me back at the beginning again.
Overuse of the same word chain makes it hard, last letter overlaps first. "SLIEO" is not a word, or a positional clue, or even the right size. "MONTH" is not the "chain" but the position clue.
No need a sweetener? I'm stuck :-(
ReplyDeleteNice one. Not so easy, after all. Thanks Bart for sharing this.
ReplyDeleteSome of the clues were fairly hard to figure out, but it was still enjoyable. Thanks for sharing this with us, Bart! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat game! :D
ReplyDelete@Anonymous: you need a 4-digit code, somewhere you have 5 numbers... and you don't need the sweetener! ;)

ReplyDeleteNo, actually, its a word chain. The last letter of each word is the first letter of the next word. MusiC, ClocK. KnifE, EartH, Honey.
ReplyDeleteTough one Bart. Thanks for the link.
ReplyDeleteFlipping over the pink cards to get the 4 numbers was a cool little trick
First?
ReplyDeleteIt was really good puzzler, and it was fun. The only problem is, I'm clicking the door and it won't open. What's up with that?
ReplyDeleteIt says the door is unlocked.
ReplyDeleteEmily,
ReplyDeleteStudy the outlined letters in the "unlocked" panel more closely . . .
Another clever, stylish puzzler from Robamimi.

ReplyDeleteBy the way, Mr. Bonte, thanks for the alternate link.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I got the door. It would've been easier if I had known from the start that it was a final puzzle.

Managed to finish without ever finding the corner marks that go with time.
ReplyDeleteGood one. And we didn't use a walkthrough!
ReplyDeleteThis is hard, started off slow, but I'm progressing. Picture= pink card????
ReplyDeleteAt the door??????
ReplyDeleteLol I opened the door on accident! I forgot about the indentations on the sides.
