cadence

Create perpetual motion loops using all nodes in each level of the musical Unity puzzler cadence by Peter Gardner.

Great. Another Unity-based game that I cannot play because Unity won't get off their asses and write a Linux client.

A guaranteed way to eliminate 15-20% of your possible target audience for a web game: write it in Unity.

Enjoying it, but can't seem to get beyond level 10. It seems like there's something I'm not quite understanding about the Cone object...

Solution to 10, try clicking the triangle to start the loop

@k The cone is one-way - it will only redirect pulses to the node it's pointing at, and only if it's connected to that node.

Alternate solution to level 10: Connect the four nodes other than the cube in a square, then connect the node the cone points at to the cube. Click on the cube.

Level 9: Connect the cone to its targeted node. Connect the cubes to each other, and the cone to the other spherical node that's not below it. Now connect that node to the one that is below the cone, and connect the node that's below the cone to both cubes. Connect the targeted node to the closer cube. Click on either cube.

Level 13 had me stuck for quite some time but I finally figured out to click a sphere rather than a square. Cute game, but starts awfully slowly. It didn't seem challenging at all until level 9. Also, I beat the levels with the dual viewpoints, even while shattering the far one due to inactivity.

All in all, it's a really neat design but it has a lot of rough edges to polish.

Also, I ended up having to play it with my sound muted because my five-year old got scared by the buzzing sound of colliding pulses. So the game ended up losing something for me.

Neat little game. The musical creations are always simple but the title never claims a complex tune. Good set of different piece types. I got all of them except for 19. Would like more levels later.
