the nodus
Journey underground into the depths of the nodus to rescue the princess in this puzzlescript puzzler by Stuart Burfield.
At first I thought, "Oh no, not another box pushing game", but I can see that this one has a little more meat on it than just that with the multiple boxes. And the graphics are very good for a puzzlescript game.
Anonymous, glad you enjoyed the game. What exactly was the problem you were having? I just played it through on the website and finished it so it should work fine.

For me, the puzzle script games need to have some sort of interesting mechanic, to compensate for the graphics/simplicity. Pushing boxes has been done SOOOOoooooooooooo many times. Nothing really very original or overly interesting here imho. However, i couldn't make one - so i can hardly defend my opinion to be anything other than personal.
Stuart, thanks for the reply, sorry for the delay, busy weekend. :)
Likely it's just me, but I can't figure out why my switch won't cover the hole on the upper left corer that gives the guy the green box when I push the green box on the switch.
Anonymous @12 May 2014 05:55 Did you mean the light orange blocks? As I only see blue, green and these light orange/sand ones. I'll try one of those just to see if it may work. Thanks.
For anyone who hasn't realised, this game has recently been remade as an app for Android. Most of the puzzles are new but the concept is the same. You can check it out here at www.nodusgame.com and try the free flash demo!
FIRST!!! This makes my day.

ReplyDeleteGreat but stuck on level 15, just won't allow the green box in upper left corner to cover +; green block. Otherwise - a fun one, thanks Bart.

ReplyDeleteI may have the solution to your problem, Anonymous! Try pushing a red box onto the switch instead of a green one.

Nice game, but a bit too easy.
