ReplyDeleteOk... Now I get it. Between the music and urgency, I was playing this as fast as I could, not realizing that this is a slow strategic turn-based match 3...that I need to sometimes wait for the guy up top to finish what he's doing, so I can figure out how to help him.
ReplyDeleteFor whatever it's worth, it's not working for me either on Firefox under Windows.
ReplyDeleteNight 4 is just brutal. Either the game is meant to be frustratingly difficult at that point, or I'm missing something, or ... the difficulty scaling isn't done yet.
ReplyDeleteHow the heck do you even make it through the first night. No matter how many matches I make it just restarts Day 1? Lousy game.
ReplyDeleteAs Mantaraya said, the game is completely about strategy. Sitting and looking at the board and planning your next move doesn't cause you to lose health or time. Think about what resources you need to complete buildings during the day, and at night pick and choose the enemies you want to fight at night along with getting swords and shields. This isn't Bejeweled where you need to match as much as you can with a dwindling clock against you.
ReplyDeleteYes the key is that this is a turn based game. Thinking about your next match3 does not progress time, only making a move does. So plan your next match and then see what effect it has on the little person.
ReplyDeleteDuring the night you will soon discover it's matter of always trying to have a sword to attack and a shield
to protect before picking an enemy.
And the game saves progress! I'm at day 16 btw.

ReplyDeleteWhy do I have to restart the next time I load up the game? It has 3 save game choices, implying I can continue play even if my family plays too. I run Firefox with cookies on & delete history is unchecked.

Don't like this game. Most of the time you 'work' for nothing. Every time you lose the fight at night, the building during the day starts all over again. And you have to wait forever while the man is building his houses. Boring.

I BEAT IT AT THE FIRST ATTEMPT :D and i think i finish the game. i beat all monsters and my sword and shield are maxed. Could you add more swords,shields,monsters,and resources. That will be great :D

ReplyDeleteomg and this is so good i went to day 115 wow that was like 3 days in real life. I think is going to be a great time killer game. I think that my blocks are filled because i have nothing to upgrade so.. this blue sword and a gold shield are pretty good but i need still improvements i only hit the final monster with 3 hits and i'm level 16. I got 4 gold hearts (idk with the gold one with the heart are called) and i was almost filled with only one heart of gold. I think i need kinds of food, shields, swords, resources, and buildings. If i was full of gold hearts what it will be the next one? Well when i was not dying now on i only have 3 deaths. I slayed 9 dragons, i gather 11565 resources, and i swamped 3889 titles. I kill all monsters and the dragon. I tried to do my best with my sword. I think my shield and my sword needs improvements. Or i could change my difficulty to hard. but i need 1 hit on easy mode that means i need new swords, shields, monsters, and more experience from monsters. I need that update.

ReplyDeleteSoooo... I don't know what those comments were about. Not inclined to try the codes. I was just playing the basic game (which I had played before), and I figured out how to line up my purple shards to skip every night until day seventy-something, when I maxed out the buildings. I thought I was smart, but I was still pretty low-level, and when I finally tried going back and fighting some stuff, I got destroyed by the harpy things and the tall sorcerer dudes. Maybe not too smart. Not sure I'll stick around to find the dragon, I've played several hours already.
