i was on the throne

A system update takes a bizarre turn in the point and click adventure I was on the throne by DiscoFish and Skyflys.

Ok. I couldn't even make it through the intro. This thing needs to have a seizure warning on it.

Firstish! Which is ironic because i don't know what to do after you "update"

This is a very peculiar game. It took me way too long to figure out that you have to hold down the mouse to get some of the puzzles done. There is a lack of clues to solve some of the puzzles. This seemed to have no direction of plot and seemed more like someone's daydream while waiting for their computer to update.

i found it to be pretty simple, all the clues are provided and easily visible, i got lucky with the holding the mouse button down as it was one of the first things i tried but i can see how some people could get stuck at those parts. that ending though was not expected

The art style is well done for the feel of the game.

Well, I'm not entirely sure what was happening, but I liked how colorful and bizarre everything was.

What a phenomenal game. Cosmic and caustic.

I'm not getting the 1-2-3 lights and lines puzzle. Any help?

You click on the number 1 light then the light of the same color that is connected to it.

I finished! (To be honest, not entirely sure how, but hey...) Very cool visuals and I know there was logic involved somehow, but mostly it felt like click'n'hope luck, lol. Interesting game, thanks Bart.

Firstly there is a hold & drag demo.
1-2-3 has to be the right lights.
Just a guess, but I don't think the windows X update "jump through hoops" will be quite this hard.

I liked it, but why did we have to kill the poor creatures? They did no harm!

VERY strange game! Wow... I agree with another that said it was more click & hope than logic for some of the puzzles.
It was still a fun little diversion.
Thanks for another interesting game, Bart!

I totally quote @gerben sweep:
the killing was bad, the game was good

Not for me. I gather that the reel-to-reel puzzle requires pushing the right buttons while the reels are moving, but my reflexes aren't fast enough. If there's a way to get past this that requires intelligence rather than speed, I can't find it.

Let's see what this is...

Odd. Different.

I think I liked it.

Thanks, Bart!

I have no idea which creatures you are all talking about, other than maybe the first robot that you destroy that looks vaguely like an animal. All I got were puzzles.

Very surreal game. Not bad, but I prefer things with more of a story behind them.

can someone please, please give me a walkthrough of the 123 lights? all the hints aren't helping :(

Absolutely fabulous and simple ! But way too short, I hope the authors will make a sequel to this lysergic gem.

@Di : concerning the lights, you just have to connect the buttons labeled with a digit to another one of the same colour. Just follow the electric threads !
