Thanks jj. I'm new to these games, have to learn a new way of thinking and to take it slow and easy. This one was simple enough even for me! If I were really on an island I'd have run myself ragged, though.

I'm in the tower, can't get the ladder down, tried using the hook, still nothing. I'm stuck with a broom handle, a hook, a lightbulb, and plastic shovel.

Wow... can't believe I made that with only one hint (thanks Anon 19:39)! Either I'm getting better, this was easy, or both. I'm open to people who need hints!

don't know the combo to any of the safes and have the shovel, already used the silver key. Help!
Safe in the blue bedroom - look around the bedroom for nautical-themed objects (ok, only one) with corresponding colors to the colors on the safe! (That safe is in a drawer under the dresser.) Should give you a significant start, Kyle.

Good Lord, were we actually expected to be able to discern the colors on the ship's wheel? I literally couldn't see them. Too bad. Was fun until then.
