Tomatea games are always so tough for me. Can't drag anything, and the buttons on the puzzles don't respond when clicked. Have a candy cane, peppermint patty, and 5 of the 6 picture pieces, but can't use them or move the pieces around on the puzzle.
Tomatea can be obscure, but the order of the notes (top to bottom, not left to right) was a real stretch. And how on earth do you get from the numbers displayed in the gingerbread houses on the wall to the numbers entered on the cabinet door?? I watched the youtube walkthrough; it provides the answer, but doesn't provide enlightenment. Any ideas, anyone?
left times right = code
I'm exactly at the point where Anna in Spain was. Except my peppermint is on the house. The candy cane doesn't want to stick to the house. I'm so lost.
OK, figured out the star, snowflake, ornament puzzle (in that order through the puzzle - its how the blink on the tree) and got M&Ms for the house and a gift box. But my candy cane still doesn't wanna stick.
I found the note order to be obscure as well. I eventually got it, but it involved a fair amount of trial and error to determine the intended order. The one thing I needed a hint for was how to use the numbers on the gingerbread houses. They're grouped into two 2-digit numbers. In the middle there's a sort of X-shaped thing which apparently indicates they're to be multiplied. The resulting 4-digit product of the two 2-digit numbers is the one used in the lock.
Didn't care for the music note puzzle either...otherwise pretty good.
look for second candy cane, then try attaching to gingerbread house.
I respectfully disagree with the negative comments. I thought this game was brilliant as other Tomato games. Just because we Westerners are used to reading music from left to right, for game solvers, who have to be divergent thinkers, that was a nifty little twist that took me a while to figure out. All of the other clues were straightforward. Loved the artwork and all the effort to provide a little FREE FUN.
I respectfully agree with the negative comments, including mine. I fully appreciate the need for divergent thinking, and TomaTea (not tomato) is typically one of the best at this in spades. But this specific puzzle was intentionally divergent as to defy logic, and not even in a particularly clever fashion. Top to bottom instead of left to right? C'mon. I assumed when the original obvious pattern didn't work he did something clever. So I tried clicking the pink blue or green buttons in an order in relation to the stem directions (up or down). And a few other things. Thinking it couldn't possibly be just top to bottom or backwards I didn't try that right away. I'm not saying it was a bad puzzle, just half-baked. Could have done much more with it that he did. Otherwise, kudos.
I respectfully wish you all a Merry, Merry X-mas (note the 'X' :-)
A good game from Tomatea. I enjoy the way the room has been redesigned from the earlier uses (though I miss the cat). I made sure to save at the end to see the different gifts you get from the four presents. It was nice of Tomatea to give a good wish with each one. Thanks Bart.
Tried again today, still can't figure out the cabinet to get the ginger bread man. If I read it correctly, it's Top, R, Top, Bottom, L. But that doesn't seem to work. Help?
Slap my forehead, I should have figured out the multiplication part.
Anna, if the gifts are in place on the wall shelves, the large X in the middle has grown "spikes". The top section has one spike, a gap, then four spikes. That means the top button will be pushed first and fourth. I hope this helps!
Where are the colored buttons?! The pink, blue and green ones??! I can't find them anywhere! I've got the note sheet but can't find the buttons! and how do you solve the puzzle with only two buttons (left and right)?
Nevermind. Sorry. I got it now. It was on the little soldier thing. Great game! Loved it!
Jaymar, that didn't work for me. I guess I'm just not smart enough to get the gingerbread man.
Does it matter in what order we solve the puzzles?
Bailing now, unless and until someone posts a walkthrough. Sigh.

Walkthrough!
Thanks Anonymous, I was missing one click. At least I've learned a lot about how Tomatea games work. I've tried them in the past with minimal success, even with WTs--but then I'm a digital dinosaur.
I worked out the logic for the stars goes like this.
The 2 on the wall are to show how to switch from up down into left right.
Then the stars in the nook give the 2 button code.
This is why my 2 step pun jokes never go over well, too complex.
