the empty kingdom
Who will you fight when there is no one to fight and who will you love when there is no one to love? A new Daniel Merlin game: the empty kingdom.
That was very nice indeed. I think it might have been more challenging if you actually had to choose when and where to use your items. Lovely graphics and sound effects.
hmmmm, i don't know really what i should think about it. The graphic-style is nice. But before i realized that i'm not clicking through the "story-intro" I was already half through the game :D
Unique and beautiful. Simple but engaging. As someone already mentioned, it would have made it more interactive if the player got to choose when to use an item. Loved the story.
When I started playing this, I immediately thought, this is exactly like Icarus Needs. Don't know if this is the same game maker or not, but the whole idea is almost exactly the same. Icarus Needs was funnier, though, because there was actually text.
stunningly beautiful... perfect lil story line... serene and peaceful... i thoroughly enjoyed this! bravo to the game developer for giving us something gorgeous and unique for our eyes and our soul :)
I enjoyed this, but it was incredibly short. Perhaps that was the point? Thanks for sharing it with us, Bart. :)

ReplyDeletebeautiful and poetic.
ReplyDeleteFrankly, I thought it was a bit lame. Beautiful and artistic, but not a lot of meat to it. Unusual interface, which I enjoyed. Meh.
ReplyDeleteI liked it a lot better the second time through, once I figured out that it wasn't a setup for a jump scare or anything like that.
ReplyDeleteNice short story/game.
Interesting and unique ^^

ReplyDeleteHow exquisitely beautiful....I loved it. So creative, imaginative and breathtakingly beautiful. Thankyou

ReplyDeleteVery cool!
ReplyDeleteAs art, I give it an A. As a game, I give it a D.

ReplyDeleteNice, but too short. A bit like Icarus Needs, which was fantastic.
