the happy escape 8

Tesshi-e is back with a festive escape the room game. Can you make Santa a cup of coffee to escape in the happy escape 8? (you can switch between Japanese and English language in the opening screen)

  4. Nice game - but somehow too much for me. Can anyone give me a hint about the book "hippos day"? I'm too dumb to understand. Many thanks!

  8. I don't think there is a perfect ending because usually in Tesshi-e games you have to unlock the door but not go through it until you have gone back and gotten the happy coin but in this one unlocking the door makes you go through it. However, if you choose the small box in the middle for your present it has three happy coins and says "Happy Coin will bring Happiness to all." If you choose the big box on the left you get Mr. Birdy Wine and if you choose the bag on the right you get the key to happiness.

Although I was wondering why the bag of presents spells SantaCllause with two l's like that. I suppose it is just a mistranslation

Anon 20:17- the word on the fire is a hint to unlock something else.

  10. Do you have the two droors above the closet thing unlocked, they have items that can be put together with the ground coffee to go on the coffee pot

  15. Hey, Tesshi-e's alive and well! It's been almost 5 months since he made another escape game -- It's been too long! Though I did decipher that one tweet he had the day after Christmas and he said that he was super busy. Can't wait to try it out!

  16. midge - Knobs would have had me baffled for a while too, but I'd already randomly clicked on the three Santas above the bed until they rotated no more...

  17. This room was very different looking, I like that. Nice puzzles and a fun ending. As always, happy coins are in high demand. Thanks Bart.

  18. Got through it hours ago. I had the hardest time figuring out what to do with the three numbers, but once I did I was on a roll from there.

I knew Tesshi-e wouldn't break his Christmas tradition! (but he did break his "Happy Coin will bring happiness to you!!" streak though. Maybe next time.)
