abandoned
Find your brother who has disappeared while examining a parallel worlds mystery in the point and click adventure abandoned by Krutovig.
An excellent game. Gives off a nice Submachine vibe. Other than a few grammar errors in some of the text, it's a well-made game, and I hope to see continuations of it.
Have noticed on occasion that when collecting the cube, the game will not allow you to collect it even after both levers have been pressed, making the game practically unwinnable. Hopefully this issue can be fixed.
I liked the game, definitely Sub-machinesque. Some of the interactions were pretty tedious (the bolt on the hatch) and I found myself wandering around a good bit hunting for something to click, which is a drag. Seems like the game wasn't designed to be easy to play (having to traverse 3 or 4 screens to climb a ladder instead of just one). And it's painful to read walls of text with so many spelling and grammar errors. Seems like finding an English speaker to proofread a game like this wouldn't be too much trouble.
Very nice mystery game. I really like this type of odd puzzle and mystery combo. The story is simple but important to the character, the world is well arranged. I look forward to more world exploration in the future. Thanks Bart.
Nice game, but it definitely seemed like a Submachine game, so much so that I have to believe they either collaborated on it or else the style was deliberately copied from that series.
I can't play this. Too much of a complete rip off of Submachine. I understand taking some inspiration, but really? Same bricked up doorways, same dead ends filled with piles of sand, same exact locales. Ancient stone place, rusty red undergroundish ruin (just so far - haven't played long). Same conspiracy-based dimension concept, just instead of the transport machine, you enter different dimensions through doors.
I'm extremely disappointed in this game. It feels like a complete rip off of Mateusz Skutnik. It blatantly copies his style while monotoizing it with too many filler screens you have to scroll through. Oh, and "unobtainium"???? Seriously!? Not only is this completely unimaginative but it's also been used before. (Element in the movie Avatar) I found it all too frustrating to get through it all the way...
I for once, was finally able to complete an escape game w/o a walkthrough!!!! Yea, similar to MS, but good puzzles and fun to play. Thanks Bart! PS. Only found 3 of 4 secrets, and is there something past the last door in the white rooms?
I am laughing at the comments accusing this game of ripping off the concept of "unobtainium" from Avatar.
Guys, "unobtanium" has been a running joke used in the sci-fi community for DECADES. Avatar is one work of fiction out of the THOUSANDS that have used that term.
Seriously, this is like complaining that Fallout stole the term "mutant" from the X-Men comics.

ReplyDeleteGood and complex. I had to use walkthrough several times, especially with the colors thing. My brain simply doesn't work that way.
