it's adoorable
A Valentine's Day minigame by Nicky Case with a secret message that will only take you one minute to play: it's adoorable.
This is super cute. People might not like timed games, but this is so short and there is a cute little ending. It takes a minute to play the whole thing.
I just got done playing it on Firefox since Opera won't load it fully. I half expected some really nasty comments in here about how it won't load, but I guess I'm the only one.
Well, to be clear: I don't mind timed games per se. What I don't like are games where my dexterity is what's being timed. Any game can be made harder by reducing the time the player has to play it, but just making it harder that way doesn't necessarily make it fun.
Cute game! I'm speculating the time element is to "force" the user to use the fastest/shortest path to finish each element of the puzzle. And thus, the final outcome is more predictable.
This made my entire day
ReplyDeleteEheheh, very nice idea! :)
ReplyDeleteBleh.
ReplyDeleteI hate time-limit games. Utterly lost interest at the second frame.
ReplyDeletehaha cute. Happy Valentine :)

ReplyDeleteSo sweet! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThis is great . . . :o)
ReplyDeleteThis was cute, but I had a little trouble with the second image. Are you able to make a custom message? I am not sure if the link works.

Remembering the holiday is key to finding the frames. Quick and easy.

ReplyDeleteI tried your link and got "Maize" instead of the the default "lovely message from me to you".

ReplyDeleteYet another game you can't play with a track pad :(
ReplyDeleteCute.

ReplyDeleteThat was super cute!
ReplyDeleteThat is so freaking cute! :)
ReplyDeleteThe timer speeds up if you go the "wrong" way (even when that path would otherwise get you to the goal in the same amount of time). Pretty sneaky. :)
ReplyDeletelol very nice and cute (even with a track pad !)
ReplyDeleteCutest game ever! Made my day!
ReplyDeletelove it...short and very sweet :-)
ReplyDeleteIt's a bit late but, I love you too Bart ;) :P
