circle push
Move all the circles to their destination by clicking and pushing them in the puzzler circle push by Thorntree Studios.
Not bad, but there's no room for creativity. You essentially have to click everything in a completely predetermined pattern. Any deviation and your circles may miss their destination by just a sliver, which means you have to start completely over.
Good concept. Not a fan of this current iteration.
Olavo - Take the red straight to the change arrow then take green and blue until they are sitting touching diagonally above the red. Moving the red into it's place pushes the other two into theirs. :)
I'm going to have to agree with Gordo here. This puzzle is about finding the precise order they want, and if you can't, you're screwed, and that does not make for a particularly entertaining or challenging game.
Hi all, creator of Circle Push here. Thank you for sharing my game, Bart! I found your page through the referrer logs on my site.
Thanks to everyone for trying out my game. I agree it is probably too hard to be fun for many people, and I'm sorry for that. By the time I was ready to release it, I didn't realize how difficult it was, because I had already memorized each level's solution after testing them dozens of times, so it felt easy to me even though it actually wasn't.
If anyone is still playing, feel free to ask and I will give the solution to any level you get stuck on.
Steven, it has the potential to be a very enjoyable game.
A couple of suggestions:
1. Definitely an undo option. I should be able to undo my moves all the way back to the beginning, should I choose.
2. There's not enough feedback visually in the game to tell me why my seemingly logical move ends up being the wrong one. I end up guessing too much.
I think there's too much potential awesome in this game to not take it all the way. It's visually pleasing and easy to manipulate the controls. Those of us who are frustrated are so only because it seems so good.
Thanks for making this game, Steven. You definitely have a skill and talent to create some compelling puzzle games.
the green one move to the red circle the red pushes the green pass the arrow then the green pushes the red back with green stopping over the purple circle red continues on then the light blue comes down and pushes the green one until both are alined with the purple so that the purple pushes both green and light blue down until purple alines itself with purple circle then move red in place.
Totally stumped by level 11. :/
ReplyDeleteNever mind... I figured it out. :)

I like the game. Made it to level 18. Will continue tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteThanks to Bart for posting and to Steven for creating.
It would be nice to be able to go 1-step back like the Z key in Puzzle Script games.
ReplyDeleteGood stuff, Thanks.
Steven, great concept!! But you're right, it's a little hard. Try again, please!!
