spring celebration
The door is locked and the room is full of puzzles to be solved before you can escape: spring celebration, a new escape the room game by TomaTea.
I cannot figure out the four letter code. All I have left are the four coins. Ive tried those letters in so many different ways.. including the first letter of the four coins in the sequence revealed, but.. can't get it to work.
I'm just pixel-hunting. This is ridiculous. I've opened the entire right side of the desk, and it won't let me try the left side or the top. I solved the egg puzzle, and I've got coins in the rabbit and lilac puzzles, but I'm missing a lilac knob and a blue marker to solve them. And I've got a green egg I can't do anything with.
You should be able to open the right-hand cabinet on the upper left side using the info from the books on the tables. You won't be able to open upper one on the left-hand side until you solve the chicken puzzle, you can open the lower cabinet on the left once you have all four coins. Make sure to get your coins back after completing the puzzles by clicking the button next to the slot for each.
The only thing that stumped me was that I kept looking for a step ladder behind one of the cabinets. Tomatea doesn't usually have objects that can be moved. Totally caught me on that one! All those benches staring at me and I didn't think to try move one. Dumb.
OK, I'm stuck. I've opened all of the cabinets except the right one on the top right, which it says I don't know how to do. I've retrieved two eggs, red and green. I can color the bunny picture but I don't know what color to make the giant egg and the basket. I have no idea what the five white rabbit statues in the grass holding eggs in various positions signifies. Can someone give me a nudge in the right direction here?
Are you still around? 1. You've seen 4 books with eggs and baskets... 2. You may forget five rabbit statues if you already opened right bottom cabinets.
I liked this one. It was tricky in a few places, but not so much that I couldn't get it after a short while.
ReplyDeleteWonderful music. I am terrible at Tomatea Games but they're fun to mess around with even if I have to give up after awhile.
ReplyDeleteChallenging, but not impossible...
ReplyDeleteFun little escape, even though some of the colors for the painting were, uh, "creative". :p
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this with us, Bart!
ok, I must be missing something...
ReplyDeletewhy does green star, red square, and so on not work?
@veewee Because there's a clue that gives the correct order which you probably missed.
ReplyDeleteok - I'll have to look around a bit better then...
ReplyDeletethanks!
oh! now I get it!
ReplyDeleteI had seen that clue, just not had put the two together!!
thanks so much, Tom!

ReplyDelete@Anonymous You need to figure out what the "2" on the back of the coins means.
ReplyDelete1 thing is wrong. I live i Australia and it is Autumn here!
ReplyDeleteI thought it might mean the second letter of each word, but that didn't work either.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous - think letter frequency
ReplyDeleteOk. I ended up finding a walkthrough for that last clue.. That made no sense to me at all.

I can't even click on the top cabinets--the cursor doesn't light up.
ReplyDeleteHave you moved the bench? You can only reach the top cabinets if you move the bench (you'll have to move it to each side you want to access).
ReplyDelete:)

ReplyDeleteok, I have 2 eggs, red and green, 4 markers, ryb eraser, and the bunny coin, and I am absolutely stumped what to do now.
ReplyDeleteto do the puzzle with the two vertical squares on the lower right cabinet, you use the puzzle above the couch right? Its not working
ReplyDeleteI was the guy stuck with 2 eggs and all the markers, my game was bugged somehow, and it wouldn't let me use the markers on the bunny portrait.

ReplyDeleteI also had to restart to be able to use the markers at all. I had saved the game and reloaded later...the markers worked before that.
